Hm..I think there was only one time so far when I’ve done that. It was when I was going hungry on purpose for a full 24 hours so I could record later. I didn’t want to break the fast, so when my friend offered to buy me food I had to decline.

I physically felt my stomach squeeze and shrivel up with that feeling of emptiness. I totally thought it was gonna growl and out me then and there 😵‍💫😵‍💫 it didn’t, but that’s only because my friend didn’t hear it. Under my shirt though? He snarled angrily at me for saying no to food 🤤

[💢] when you’re hungry, do you notice because of your stomach’s growls or because of an empty feeling inside of it?

Both! I think I notice first from the hollow, achey feeling from deep in my middle. It feels like a sponge being squeezed in my belly whenever it tenses up, and then the release is the best part.

Now, if I’m hungry but not starving, then my stomach growls and grumbles before I even realize it. It’s always begging for more food even when I’ve eaten. The only time I think my stomach is ever actually *quiet* is if I’ve eaten a shit ton of food and it hasn’t settled yet.

Oh yeah, a ton. My girlfriend lays on my stomach a lot and usually tells me how noisy it’s being. There’s been plenty of times in the morning that I’ve been hungry while we cuddle and it growls in her ear. Sometimes she’s even talked back to my stomach after it grumbles for food.

One time (or a few times, really) she decided what we had for dinner based on how loud my stomach growled at each option she suggested 👀👀

So I’ve kind of earned the reputation of “trash compactor” among my friends, in the sense that they know that if they don’t like something or can’t finish it, I’ll literally eat whatever’s left. Even if it’s a whole other plate of food and I’ve had my own already, I’m still able to…and most of the time my greedy stomach still thinks it’s empty enough anyway 😳

And that’s exactly what happened last night

Anyway, so I had all of my dinner already and was starting to clean up, and my stomach was happily digesting, but was nowhere near full at all. I wasn’t hungry anymore, but I could still feel that there was so much excess room in there as the contents of my tummy started shifting around.

Roommate comes in and says they don’t like the dinner they’re having, and they’re gonna make something else, so they give me the rest. They took one bite of it, tops.

I’ve been given an entire other meal to consume. I remember feeling my stomach gurgling at me and squeezing down what I just had a minute ago, almost like it knew and started making more room.

I ate the whole thing. My tummy was so round and full of noodles and carbs and broth, and all that liquid sloshing everything around made it so that it did not shut up after. God, I was so filled up and it was this loud, audible digestion that my gf kept giggling at and commenting on. She kept hearing it grumble across the room 😭

since osamu’s the one that goes to other kingdoms to learn about their etiquette and whatnot, osamu teaches atsumu these things. osamu takes much pleasure from that bc it annoys atsumu to high-heaven.

but while osamu sails to other kingdoms as something of an ambassador, he’s not the one with the seat at inarizaki’s royal court (or whatever you call the place where laws are established). osamu’s just a spectator and it’s atsumu’s opinions being heard, not his. it’s a hierarchy thing and it’s atsumu that got the short end of the stick (at least, osamu thinks so.)

atsumu is stuck within the walls of the kingdom to learn the ins and outs on how to govern it. he knows more about the locals and he’s more acquainted with inarizaki royalty. atsumu knows who to look out for in the royal court and knows just how to play each one of them to have his way.

here’s a fun new tidbit for you!! for the princes, they have two different houses and to distinguish what’s theirs they have their own colors. atsumu’s is gold and osamu’s is silver.

so any servants and/or guards belonging to atsumu wear gold fabric or anything inlaid with gold thread while osamu’s wear silver.

I’d been a lurker for a while before I made an account, so essentially I just kinda became what I wanted to see out here in the community.
