Story:
He had four siblings, who all died shortly after birth. His mother was distressed, and upset she was left with a âbroken kit.â
The Clan hated him. He had black fur while his family all had white fur, and he made erratic movements such as wagging his tail and stomping his paws.
Fidgetkit loved anything squishy. He loved pressing his paws against prey, he loved cushy moss. Thatâs what he would want cats to know about him.
What the Clan always talked about was that Fidgetkit was born with some deformities, such as his front paws being too long and his back paw being only half formed.
He was only two weeks old when the medicine cat forcefully tore his deformed back leg, snapping off his foot.
He recovered well, but seemed to always have an infection of some kind.
He was regarded by his Clan as an outcast, and when he was an apprentice, his mother had three new kits.
Three new white furred kits. The elders spread stories his whole life about how one black kit born to a family was bad luck, and that he was cursed.
He should have died at birth, and his heartbeat was still undetectable for some reason.
Fidgetpaw developed something the medicine cat called cauliflower ear, which was a build up of scar tissue after having his ear scratched in punishments so many times.
Fidgetpaw grew more and more anxious that he was bringing bad luck on his Clan, a Clan he didnât care about, and so he decided he needed to be exiled.
But his Clan was low on members, and he wasnât sure they would exile him just yet if he was bringing back prey.
Redpaw was always bullying him, tormenting him and calling him Fidgetfreak. The Clan certainly wouldnât make that his warrior name, would they?
Redpaw and him went out on patrol, and when they were close to the cliffface, he pushed her against the rocks, cracking her skull open.
A pale pinkish substance leaked out of her head, and he hesitantly placed his paw on it.
It was squishy, and he stomped his feet in joy, completely forgetting what he had done.
He washed his paws off and returned to camp, but he wanted to do it again. If that was the kind of joy that came with murder, then why was it frowned upon?
Fidgetpaw killed his moon-old siblings after luring them out of camp, squishing their small brains together in a blob.
But he was caught by a patrol, and dragged back to camp. He was held as a prisoner, attacked and hurt, and given his warrior name early.
There were chants of Fidgetfreak, but one catâs words stuck in his head: Fidgetguts. It wasnât what he wanted at all, but it was the kinder option.
He was weak, and hurt, and the Clan elders claimed he was undead. The Clan exiled him, all taking a slash at his ear as he left.
In exile, he would die of starvation.
Additional Information:
--Submission by @wills-woodland-warriorsâ
--Zombie cat.
--Ref by Turukhan.
--He was 12 moons old.
--Iâd love to hear any thoughts on him!!
--He has birth defects, but none of them but the leg ever affected him aside from a higher risk of infection in his ears.
--Because of how the paw was amputated, the leg itself is still there but is too short to put on the ground, so he struggled with walking and canât run because the leg naturally wants to move in a walking pattern but it canât so itâs hard on his joints.Â
--âI struggled to show it in the ref, but if you google Jinx The Cat thatâs pretty much what he looks like!â
--New apprentice up for adoption!!
--He possibly keeps his name in the Dark Forest because he doesnât want to be easy pickings and he thinks having a âtoughâ name would help keep him safe as a skrunkly little guy.
