{|♚|} Alexander was seated on his designated seat next to the hospital bed. Albeit the fact that it was long pass visiting hours, the hospital had been kind and allowed him to stay. His sister's condition growing worse with each passing day, made the raven unable to stay at home in peace. His hand played with blond locks, gently not wanting to disturb her peaceful slumber. Occasionally his fingertips wandered over her cheekbones, only to confirm that she was still warm and living.
Darkness was lacing his thoughts, the helplessness he felt leaving a bitter aftertaste in his mouth. One which he simply couldn't get rid off, not even with the sweetest of cake. Using his other arm as a pillow, he rested his head on the bed. She resembled an angel, like this all clad in white.
He was simply going to watch her go.
Wasn't he?
Trembling he withdrew his hand, cerulean optics closing. Watching her die slowly was painful enough. The thoughts about his loneliness once she was gone even more. His musings were disturbed by the sudden feel of a breeze. His head snapped up, not remembering ever opening that window, which was in fact now opened wide, revealing another man's form. Bewildered, Alexander stood up, sapphire optics glaring at the stranger, as he automatically moved to stand in between the man and the sleeping girl.
"Who are you?"
