(Pre-pact) Arael always tries their best to have a smile on their face. It’s hard, sometimes, faced with all the evils and dangers in the world, but they must carry on for their and their family’s sake. They are a romantic at heart and always seem to have a song to appease or to cheer, even when battered and bruised they can keep on laughing.
(In-pact) Nameless’s smile never leaves their face. It never falters, even when blood and grime stain their skin. It’s almost they have no care for their own situation or pain, as long as their patron’s will is served. They’re not cruel—they’d never rejoice an innocent’s suffering—but they can be as swift as the winter’s fury and just as merciless.
