What makes Sugare an indie company, and how is it different from Pretty Blood?
Sugare lacks the large facilities and budgets that Pretty Blood has. Instead, Sugare focuses on hosting exclusive media focusing on the interactive portion of snuff. Hosting a variety of talents referred to as Cake Pops, the focus of Sugare is a consequence-free, interactive experience for the client.
How is Sugare interactive?
It depends on the talent.
Vi Sarah hosts her concerts in lesser known stages, usually as an opening act or "appetizer" for a different live performance.
The Cleaner can be rented out and used for anything as it has an endless amount of clones. Despite the cheap price, its broken psychological state leaves much to be desired, leading to a flatlined popularity.
Both Fi-Fi and Carrott offer themselves as talent for videos (and anything else), with Fi-Fi being popular among gore enthusiasts and Carrott being popular among those with an affinity for psychological torture.
What else does Sugare do?
Sugare also sells merchandise of its talent! Industries looking to collaborate must also go through Sugare, giving permission for the company to host the video on their own site as well as the collaborating company's. It also ensures the talent are paid fairly.
How the hell do you pay them if they die lol
All of the talent of Sugare have been prevented from death in some way or another.
How is this indie? Sounds like a lot of work.
Most snuff companies have militaries and scientific studies, giant laboratories and labyrinths.. Sugare lacks all of that, and its fanbase is much lower compared to even smaller companies.
You may find some of the talent doing regular odd jobs simply because they needed the money.
FUN FACTS ABOUT THE CAKE POPS!
Vi Sarah is the most popular out of the Cake Pops. After that is Fi-Fi, Carott, then Cleaner.
Despite this, Cleaner makes more money than Vi Sarah because of the sheer amount of times it gets rented out.
Carrott is the only Cake Pop that does not have a side job. (Vi Sarah has her genuine idol career, Fi-Fi works at a gas station, Cleaner works a large multitude of jobs as clones.)
Tenchou is the only Cake Pop that is not a bunny.
Sugare was established by Tenchou, who saw a business potential in Cleaner. Originally a failing cleanup company, Tenchou saw better financial opportunities in the snuff film industry and swiftly rebranded to Sugare, where she met the freelance idol and corpse, Vi Sarah. Fi-Fi was scouted by Vi Sarah later, and Carrott was scouted by Fi-Fi.
After every shoot, Carrott's body is repaired and his memories are wiped. This makes it so every shoot of his is "fresh", making him freshly innocent and naive. While wiping his recent memories costs a bit, repairing his body falls under Malino healthcare and is actually free of charge as he counts as a living being, even though he is a robot.
