A few weeks later Fhi went to the woods to pick some mushrooms.

- Ka’he! How nice to see you!

- It’s so nice to see you too Fhi! It’s been too long!

- Tell me how is your new place?

- It’s great! We really love it there. Sooo much more practical than the old camp! And not as hot, which makes a big difference. What about you? You look good! Have you put on weight?

- I probably did! They say I look better than before. Well, at least Huh does. He calls me his shining diamond!

- Mammoth hunt? Mehn gave it a second of thought. I’m all for it!

- Ka’he, we have something to tell you. ‘kny and I have decided to be together!

- You might have noticed that we have shared the hut for some time.

- I am happy for you, but I guess you want me to leave now. So that means I am alone again. Just give me a day or two to make some preparations.

- Remember I told you about the girl I met in the woods, Fhi? Yesterday I met her again, and I was complaining about the heat, and she invited me to her camp, and guess what - they have their own pond! They invited us to come and have a swim whenever we want.

- Yes, she lives with two guys, Huh and Mehn, very nice people all of them! They share work and things, much the same way we do.

- Five, six, seven, eight ... Oyw counted.

- Eight what? The girls were confused.

- Eight persons! We are three, your friends are three, plus Momo and Pah. I think maybe we are enough to go mammoth hunting! Can you imagine!

- Mammoth?!! They are so big and dangerous.

- I’m not afraid! I’m not afraid of anything!

- Except Rhinos, ‘kny reminded him. And Hippos.
