- his facial scar has also impacted his sight and hearing on that side. He and Toph make jokes about him being half blind. His depth perception can be meh sometimes (and that fact is likely part of the reason zuko's avatar killing/capturing attempts weren't successful
- it really fucking itches sometimes
- his lightning scars run throughout his whole body but are most noticeable on his hands and chest
-my zuko's facial scar extends down to his jaw, resulting in his mouth always looking a little crooked
- the scarring also impacts how well he tastes things on that side of his mouth
- because he screamed when he was burnt he has scarring on the inside of his mouth as well
My Zuko goes by primarily he/him pronouns bc it feels like everyone expects that of him however he likes she/her pronouns too. Zuko has def bonded with Suki over make up and likes trying on clothes, even clothes traditionally considered 'feminine.' Zuko would like being called a person's boyfriend or girlfriend equally, although I think he would like the term 'partner' the most bc boyfriend/girlfriend feels a bit immature to him.

thinking about my duplicate verse... My Zuko has wondered if a lot of the painful things in his life could've been avoided if he wasn't a firebender. Zosa's exsistence, however, proves that Ozai was always cruel, perhaps even moreso towards nonbending people.
Zuko was manipulated and abused by his father right alongside his siblings. Zuko fears his father and unbeknownst to him his father fears Zuko and his siblings too. Although it is ultimately Aang that defeats Ozai it is an headcanon (and maybe an OP one at that) without firebending training from Zuko, even with the avatar state, Aang would have lost. Despite formally losing to Aang, Ozai credits his defeat to his children. This blame is part of the reason why Zuko gets so many attempts on his life as Ozai manipulates guards and other potential loyalists to turn on his children.
