---- Most kids fantasize for days on end about being in their favorite video games. Running across the lush plains and shuttle loops of Green Hill Zone, stomping Koopas in World 1-1, storming Dr. Wily’s castle... and yet, here was Nona. Living every kid’s wildest dream, casually living in the Goddess of Light’s temple in Skyworld, watching members of Palutena’s Guard soar in and out each passing hour.
But what did she do? Sit around, lounge in bed, sleep on and off most days. Exactly like back home - back on Earth. She couldn’t really pinpoint why... was it some form of depression? Lack of motivation in general? Or was Videoland not as exciting as daydreaming children would make it out to be?
Whatever the case, she was getting frustrated with her own lethargy, and it showed. As today, instead of lying around in her bed, she was idly pacing the hallways outside of her designated room. Hands behind her back, brow furrowed in thought, and somewhat of an annoyed frown on her face.
She was snapped out of her little dazed loop when she saw a familiar face, perking up a bit and stopping her incessant pacing so she wouldn’t embarrass herself. Though they weren’t related by a long shot, she’d started to consider Pit somewhat like the little brother she’d never had since being rescued. He was nicer than Falco, at least.
---- “ Is it... weird that I don’t get out much, Pit? ” She asked, somewhat of a distant look on her face. But, rather quickly, it became more lively. In the sense that... she looked pretty embarrassed, and quickly began to backpedal her own statement.
“ Oh- wait, oh gosh, I didn’t even say hi first. Sorry. Welcome back? ”
