I see Ali in a lot of the lyrics for this and the overall tone is something I feel like it conveys her loneliness and desire to go home very strongly.

Thanks for the ask @the-wardens-torch! This one’s going to be a hard one since I don’t consider that much when I make characters!

My initial thought is that Ali could fit in with Gemini or Pisces but after a little bit of reading I think Ali fits Gemini more (typical that she’d be a Gemini like me). She often feels torn in two directions and changes her face or personality based on the situation she is in (despite not being the most outgoing she can fit in pretty well to most environments). Her entire character has a duality that she finds very hard to balance and she’s often torn between two choices or two directions she could take.

She’s very adaptable to the situation, not only in the way she presents her self but also in the fact she can think on her feet, or plan ahead when the mood takes her. She is more likely to be on the impulsive and reckless side, but she’s intelligent enough to know when she needs to actually stop and think too. And that uh, is about it I think?

The only striking difference I find between Ali and a “typical” Gemini is that she isn’t extremely outgoing, though that’s due to her past and present situations. She definitely ticked the box for outgoing as a kid, and maybe one day she’ll be able to let go of her worries and simply be who she is again!

It took me a while to find another song that aren’t two I’ve already mentioned but I finally settled upon I See Fire - Ed Sheeran

This is very reminiscent of Ali’s past for me (and probably for her if she heard it) - when fire burned down all she knew and took with it her “brothers” (the pirate crew she grew up with). She believes she should have gone down with the ship, or been imprisoned alongside them and will spend the rest of her days working to free them in any which way she can.
