Como me gusta usar la linea de comandos les voy a mostrar a continuación como obtener la resolución de un video usando el comando ffprobe que es un analizador de multimedia.
El comando lo ejecutaremos de la siguiente forma.
[simterm]$ ffprobe -v error -select_streams v:0 -show_entries stream=width,height -of csv=s=x:p=0 video.mp4 [/simterm]

Today I needed to inspect a video file. So I thought: "Do it with ffmpeg!". I had a older version of ffmpeg installed via macports. So this is the process i went through. [gist](https://gist.github.com/4682731) If you don't have it already: 1. Install XCode and the XCode command-line tools 2.
