a/n: omg ur back 💙 unfortunately i did plan on posting smth halloween related but i partied too hard that i passed out and forgot about it. AND THEN, i was gonna do a thanksgiving post but i got drunk. oopsies. halloween is my favorite holiday but i like the vibes of christmas. hopefully you enjoy, even if i post this a month in advance lmao. also im making this reader centric because im selfish LOL
Twas the week before Christmas where you and your lover are excited to spend the holidays together and with everyone else. You had been planning on all kinds of festivities but your lover on the other hand seemed slightly more reluctant than you. Turns out, maybe things don't turn out exactly as what you hope but it somehow makes the holidays far more memorable than you could ever imagine.
What fun festivities will await the both of you?
- she hates the bad mood everyone is in when they careless choose to scramble for last minute gifts when all the isles in stores are already empty. not to mention that there's barely anything worth buying for anybody and wrap it all up with cheap paper.
- regardless, she'll make the effort in getting something for everyone. i mean, its the thought that counts, right?
- would take the time to get you something though, she knows that you're top priority for her and that she wants to be able to get you something that you'll remember and use for a good while.
- jolyne loves gifts. she could honestly care less about the sappy bullshit of "bringing friends and family together". it makes her wanna vomit and with her own family issues she's got going on, it's not in her top priority. you're her family now.
- except she does like calling her mom the morning of christmas, just to tell her that she loves her. shes a momma's girl after all.
- will sneer at the idea of wearing corny matching pajama sets with everyone else. "can i at least get the reindeer ones? theyre cute and the color matches me!"
- loves eggnog! and you can suck it if you say otherwise right into her face.
- the one to bring up doing beer pong or something. she wants to get lit tonight!!
- christmas is a really interesting holiday for her. she likes the memories of being a kid and her mom spoiling her with gifts, but there's a bittersweet moment that there could be more.
- she's indifferent about the holidays. it's a time where she kinda reminiscents to her childhood days where she was still with her family. she only liked being able to spend time with her sister, even as she was busy running the resturants during the holiday rushes.
- thats until you came into the picture and suddenly there was light being brought back to her life once again.
- she loves giving gifts, thinks the best way to really know somebody is getting them something that they would like. she likes to cheat sometimes but she'll get something nice for herself as well.
- likes to spend the holidays, or the days leading up to it, working hard to save up money to get you something nice.
- isn't opposed to a christmas party with the others, no better way to spend it tbh.
- probably the reason everyone is about to get drunk, ROFL.
- gets drunk easily, she's a touchy and giggly drunk so expect her to be real close to ya by the end of the night.
- likes to bring things up to be a little messy... hey, i never said she was a peacemaker
- starts drunk singing christmas songs.
- likes the matching PJ set, isn't sure who came up with it but they're the first to show up with a drink in their hand. loves matching with you!!
- likes drinking hot cocoa or warm cider instead of eggnog.
- absolutely excited about the gifts, its the main thing they're looking forward to.
- freaks out about the snow, drags you outside with them to go play.
- and of course they try to eat the snow. hey, water is water i guess!!
- last minute gifter, would find something in the house thinking it'll be a good gift to give you or anybody else.
- i think you're the one who makes the holidays really special for F.F. humans are so interesting sometimes yknow. but they think its fun participating anyways.
- usually spends it alone or with Emporio, but he didn't really feel the significance to it until you came along.
- not the best with giving gifts either, i dont think he understands that first of all its a surprise, and two it has to be something... good.
- is there for the food too, he's pretty curious about the dishes being made for the holidays. i can see him having a big appetite.
- hates the ugly sweaters, theyre itchy but he won't complain about them out loud.
- kisses you under the mistletoe without second thought. he'll do it regardless of the tradition.
- is probably the reason its snowing so much, but only around the area that he's at. when does Florida ever get so much snow anyways?
- he's planning on making the night something that you will remember.
- would pull off those corny "pranks" where he'll lead you away from everyone, only for the two of you to stand under the mistletoe.
- no because why is he only caring about giving gifts to you but when it comes to everyone else he kinds just doesnt care lmaoo
- would honestly get naked and put a small bow on himself and lay on the bed sensually saying he's the gift.
- cannot stand christmas songs tbh. he thinks theyre kinda annoying but he's going to have to suck it up, especially if it means you're gonna play them.
- would cry tears of joy when you think about him enough to get him a present. he's gonna be all over you.
- the holiest of holidays, well... just behind Easter Sunday for him.
- he's a busy bee, he'll be at the church in the mornings with you with him.
- at first i thought he would be into caroling but lowkey i think it would be the complete opposite. it's a little ridiculous that people try too much.
- welp, since he's the grinch (not really) is he gonna steal everyones presents for himself? well no, but he is gonna go around and torment everyone (kidding.. or maybe im not 👀)
- is NOT invited to the function but he shows up anyways and its like that one sound effect of the record screeching.
- would like to hand you a gift and ONLY you. because he didnt really care enough to give anything to the others... rude.
- drinks the warm eggnog, has to be a right temperature otherwise its off.
- if you gave him something he will be grateful, even if its something kinda... small and dumb. he'll make a face.
