wowowow your art is amazing!!! i just want to know though, for your really detailed colored works, do you use tons of layers for those? and how long does it usually take to finish a piece? i'm loving your art so much!
Hi there! Thanks you so much! The number of layers I use will vary a lot, like something with a complex background will have more of layers but in general it’s 2 main layers for rendering the main figure(s) and bg, and the 1-8 others for fiddling with color or small details. I might start with a lot of layers but I try to flatten things as much as possible because its easier to manage. As for how long it takes, I don’t really keep track of the time when I’m working, but I rarely spend more than a few days on something now (I’m slow). I think once I spent a month on something though HAHHAH I’ll never do that again…
