yeah uh i really hate the tendency FE has to making antagonists/characters the player is supposed to hate "ugly" especially when they are commonly bipoc, trans/gay, or jewish-coded.
validar....HOOOO BOY. this guy is a fucking string bean. he's giving jafar (aladdin jafar, not fire emblem jaffar) levels of racist caricature. also the homophobic undertones. he's serving major cunt but in a /neg way.
i have yet to finish fe warriors, i own it and have started it but never got super far as fewth came out just after i bought it and my monkey brain prioritized playing that instead. but validar sure is....something. does he make me want to play the game more or less now? unsure
gandolf/munnir is from genealogy, right? i'm not super familiar with fe4 but i do think i recognize the name. he looks like a pretty generic enemy. my knowledge of munnir is limited to just that unfortunately.
