No matter the price of my clothes and accessories, I still lean towards the classics, especially for more dressy occasions. When it comes to shoes, few details are more classic than a pointy toe. I have several of these but they're 3" to 3.5" stilettos for work and upmarket venues.

On weekends when I absolutely must go comfy casual, pointy toe footwear dresses up a simple tee and jeans combo when wandering along the glamorous Orchard Road shopping strip in search of brandied fruit cake for the festive season. I'm so happy with these 'flats' (a smalllllll 1" heel) and they don't hurt my feet! I also took my red Cartier bag out for a whirl.

Before the year ends and the celebrations begin, Christmas invites us to slow down and reflect on what truly matters.
