ABBA's Frida talks about her secret project
(original article by Therese Färsjö for Expressen, translated by Marlo, with help from dreamsgoneastray because sometimes, Swedish sentence structure is weird.)
ABBA's Frida is writing about her own life. She spoke about the project in an interview with Fredrik Skavlan. "I hope to publish it eventually," she says.
Anni-Frid Lyngstad is seldom involved with the media, but on Wednesday afternoon, she made a very rare exception when Friday's episode of Skavlan was recorded in Stockholm.
During the interview, she reveals that she is working on a story about her life.
"I've always written a lot. When there have been tough times in my life, I've written through them." "I hope to publish it."
Anni-Frid Lyngstad has been through many difficult periods in her life. She has gone through two divorces, was widowed, and lost a daughter.
In the interview, she says that her writing has become more focused recently, with the goal of publishing her story in mind.
"I've used myself as a character in a story. I hope to publish it eventually, but it's going to take as long as it takes." Skavlan airs on SVT at 9 on Friday night.
The Joy of ABBA (2013) 59min. Combining European musical influences, perfect production and lyrics of love and loss, ABBA made us fall in love with the sound of Swedish melancholy. This documentary explores the music of ABBA and chronicles how they conquered both Sweden and Britain in the face of constant criticism.
