my wip is filled to the brim with tenderness but one of my favorite moments so far is a scene where the princess’s icy, stern bodyguard takes her out for gelato after she has a bad day. 🍨💕 margo doesn’t always have people in her corner, and victoire can be very harsh, so it’s a nice moment for margo to know people care.

That's adorable!! I'm such a sucker for stoic bodyguard being soft/sweet/making exceptions to do things for their ward that they don't usually do. And the fact that they know she's having a bad day and chooses to take her out for gelato!!
Does the bodyguard know that she doesn't have many people in her corner? Like do they see that pretty often? And does the bodyguard try to play it off like it's no big deal or like "well we were just in the area, so why not?" or do they sorta admit that they knew she was having a bad day and wanted to take her out?
But I'm so glad Margo realizes she has people in her corner looking out for her (more than just as a job too). Especially when she's having such a bad day.
