Aha... I'm back! So today's question session is mostly regarding Livan's route (because I love that boy way too much to let him go...). Also, these questions can be somewhat spoilery so you might want to answer privately. My first question is, Memme mentioned that she left the Silver Mountain in order to protect her people... That leads me to wonder, is she related (in any way, shape, or form) to Ciera?

Hi Zeiva! I've been a big fan of you for about 3 year now, and I have so much admiration and respect for you and your work! I've got one question though, regarding character names... Being a Latin student, I noticed that the word Ferim means "let me bear" or "I shall bear" (bear as in carry a heavy weight or carry out an important task). This meaning doesn't really seem like a coincidence (knowing Ferim's role in Area-X and all), but is it? Or is this name one of those Easter eggs?
Oh, wow, I wish I can say I did that on purpose, but this time itās pure coincidence. XD;;; None of the characters in Area-X is named in Latin (unlike Voices from the Sea, where the entire cast is named in Latin.)
Ferimās name came from the word Ferry. Since heās a guide for Elcia and he dwells in Area-X, that resembles the Silver River. Also Livanās name is a play of āriverā and ālive onā. And if you play Area-X, you know how they are connected to each other. :D

Well, I promised I will show the last guy after I finished Livan's path, so here he is. What do you mean you are disappointed that you didn't get to see his face? That's what the full game is for :P
Ferim is an unknown, where he comes from, what he does, what he wants, or what he is, it's a total mystery. Okay, I know I'm obsessed with mysterious bishonen (starting from Mystery Man of Genetic Glow), so of course my games are gonna be full of them. I like uncovering mysteries you know...especially if it involves bishonen.
Ferim's path is the final path you play in Area-X. You have to finish the other 4 paths in order to unlock his. His path will answer pretty much all the questions you have in Area-X, and give you a different resolution to other paths. Unlike other paths, Ferim only have 1 ending (with a few sub quest for you to discover).
As for his personality, to be honest, he's the toughest one to write. He's the classic emotionless character like Rei from Evangelion. I find this kind of character very hard to write because they are supposed to lack emotions that make people people. Obviously he isn't going to be emotionless from start to finish, especially when he starts to develop feelings. And as usual my twisted mind is telling me to do something else with this overused trope. So maybe his personality will surprise you towards the end. Let's hope so :P
