21. Best Rival?
while i want to say blue is my fave rival, i know what i really mean is i love post-alola-game blue when he and red are on their romantic island getaway tbh so ACTUALLY my fav rival is probably cheren; truth time i had big gay for cheren when the games first came out but im actually replaying white rn and i appreciate his character arc thru the main story, i like how Gen V did a good balance of making your rivals challenging and opposing but still making them feel like friends ???
23. Serious or silly nicknames?
i used to be super elitist about nicknames lol like i remember being little and only nicknaming my “special” pokemon (which usually entailed only shinies or whoever might have been my fav pokemon at that exact moment) and then i switched to naming all my pokemon, but i swear i’d spend 20 mins trying to come up with the perfect name and literally look like that meme from iasip with the conspiracy whiteboard,, but nowadays i actually do a little of both, but admittedly once i decided on some names for pokemon all those years ago those are the names i’ve mostly kept in every game bc i just envision all of my pokemon as characters in my head that i just continually embody, like for example regardless of which version i’m playing i always name my turtwig Leland because that’s “my” turtwig’s name???

18. what surprised you the most this year? myself, to be honest. for the past couple of years i’ve been kind of lost? and also very creatively stinted, without realizing that was even part of the problem. my general mood and connection to myself has improved so much in just a few months after i started indulging in things that make me happy and picked up writing again.
21. what message would you give yourself at the beginning of the year? just keep on going the way you are and try your best!! a lot has happened and it’s okay to take your time with sorting it out and getting back to yourself. also, try not to let the sink get full before you finally do the dishes.

tomorrow: favourite ways to write fluff?
it’s hard for me to write, honestly! and not because i don’t love to read it, either. i’m just SO attracted to angst when it comes to writing, and it’s funny, because one of my wips is a christmas-themed jihyun fic that is supposed to be all fluff (no angst, no smut) and i’m struggling so hard with it lmao
that said, i do have a fluff fic posted up that i wrote for ans, and just going off of that, i’m really into characters talking about their feelings. so even when i’m going for something happy, it still turns out really emotional.

gDFJHG god you’re valid he’s so prettyit’s hellfire !! by touch, he burns you from the inside outit physically effects him though and his hands and most of his forearms look charredwhen activated, you can actually see it glow under the charred skin and it gives you a little bit of warning as to when he’s about to use it !!
