He's a fascinating character‚ too; a fiercely loyal#Servant to a tyrant master. He cheats and kills and robs for his master but simultaneously he never seems to take any joy in his work. A#Quietly stoic follower of orders... He's definitely the bad guy‚ but there's a sort of code‚ and a logic to him‚ which makes him hard to#Dislike (if not actually respect). This character aside‚ the film is mostly spectacle over anything deeper: mindless action‚ dramatic#Showdowns and bloody vengeance. Oh don't get me wrong‚ it's a lot of fun; sometimes mindless spectacle is what you need#Plus this clocks in at a nifty 80 something minutes‚ which is nothing to be complained about. I like a film that knows how to start‚ be#Extremely silly for just over an hour‚ and then abruptly end. It's a skill set we're sorely lacking in today's filmmakers with their#Multiple hour alternate cuts and re edits and extended versions. Booo‚ I say‚ simply kill the baddy and slam cut to the credits!
