#fen updates

I completely forgot to post the chap 5 (chap 4 update) here.

I also have my next tattoo booked, and will be getting it done on Saturday morning (also my birthday morning so that's cool). 

BUT, it'll take the last of my cash. On the one hand, using the last of my money to get a tattoo is selfish and silly... but on the other hand, I'm getting this fucking tattoo. So, money is tight but thankfully, the landlord is pretty forgiving when it comes to cash (but seriously, I need to get Rick to talk to him about reducing our rent because £300 each for a one-bed flat plus bills? Way too much for down here. One-bed flats are £450 plus bills. It's technically a 2-bed flat but his room is under lock and key while he's not here so we are essentially living in a one-bed flat. I don't see why we should pay for a room we can't use.)

Related to cash woes, work is all over the place. I did 34 hours last week and I'm down for 24 this week. I miss the summer where I was pulling 50 hour weeks along with everyone else. It was hard, but the hours went by quickly enough and it was money. We got paid an extra £1 an hour for the duration of the Summer holidays! Pretty cool. So I'm going to try to move to my local town; I love working where I work, but I think fuel costs are killing me; at least in Falmouth I can walk to work. 

Despite the fact that the start of 2014 seems to be shitting on me, I still feel good. Sure, we have money worries, but they're fixable with some understanding on the landlord's part (Rick's just opened a business that he spent near enough ever waking hour at, damn straight he should be understanding) and some careful spending on mine.
