Thrill Me would be excellent as a play.

Top five plays you'd like to see made into musicals
OH NO.
No really this is hard, lemme think because there are so many plays I love but most of them are like ???? to think of as musicals for me so let’s see.
The Tempest would be super cool - though you could argue that Return to the Forbidden Planet is basically The Tempest (Campy Sci-fi AU) the Musical in a weird way.
Faust could be a dazzling musical in the same vein as Elisabeth potentially, but it would have to be handled just right in order to make me happy.
‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore is another one that could be a really gorgeously dark musical, but again, it would have to be handled with utmost care or I would be really, really upset.
Baal is technically already sort of a musical (though I guess it’s more like a play with songs), but it would be really interesting to see it treated as musical theatre.
Fair Maid of the West would be a fucking ace musical holy shit.
