ps1 game and 1. i used to play it with a very good friend of mine. We'd scour the book of the game for recipes that we could make, and i remember specifically there was a recipe that always failed which might mean it was misprinted in the book lol
It was also one of the first games I ever got in a store for $25. I was short a few bucks and a random dude in the GameStop gave me money to buy the game. I still love playing the game though I will admit I've never actually gotten to the point of getting married or having kids XD

because people hate wome- (LOUD COUGHING) sorry eyeball stuck in my throat. it's bad because it should have been mizuki route instead and in This Canon Timeline Experienced By The Characters The Only One That Mattered date neglected mizuki and he shouldn't do that because i like him. and he should have had a custom model for the ten minute scene. and he shouldn't be dating hitomi because that's messy and painful due to the nature of date's identity, and the game is clearly saying that it's good and normal and there's no problems with it because they put it in the epilogue for the Canon Ending.

someone posted like a 200 page thing about how they hate deltarune and also it's bad in that order (here) and some of this is good and most of it is unbearable.
standouts include:

the one undertale character they like is asgore because he's the only one with a real compelling conflict and they really whine about the games being too mean to him and making him the butt of divorce jokes. noted toddler obliterator asgore dreemur

they seem really upset that it's not a hard game? like. they accuse it of being a fake rpg from someone who doesn't care about rpgs the same way DDLC is, and i find it untoward to say that when you're claiming it's not a game because it doesn't have Real Gameplay. you don't care about visual novels. 'rpgs' have been next to visual novels as choices for beginners who just want to get something out there with pictures for ages. they're comparing an indie rpg to shin megami tensei instead of the genre of indie rpgs. i think there's room to-

god. okay. some of the points are good (deltarune is more of An Event than a video game; saying That Scene made it through to release without anyone mentioning it could be read Like That, and that it is a bad thing to release a game with a scene that could be read Like That, is infantilizing everyone involved to the nth degree; both games are weak on their premise (which is especially funny considering it's taken entirely from another game toby didn't even play because it was only in japanese at the time of undertale's creation(this is not mentioned in the essay because it would require acknowledging that moon is an rpg))) but it's so tied up with the fact they clearly just don't like the game because they wanted it to be something else. "toby fox REFUSES to write a good story because he's AFRAID" i think you have exactly as much of a parasocial relationship with him as the fanbase does my friend. like sure ralsei and susie's designs were more interesting before but there is a point being made about a character's eyes being visible. you can disagree with the choice, but to say the game decided to do Nothing because toby fox was making it bad on purpose is disingenuous.
