It's actually pretty rare. Yet.... It's comparable to sarcoptic mange in dogs. This mite causes lesions predominantly on the face and ears. It's itchy and uncomfortable. It's also zoonotic. Mitey Max is an incredibly sweet 3 month old boy we have been lucky to get to know after pulling him from the shelter and treating.
