Hey! So, I've been away for a while. But I'm back now!
I said I was going to make a poll for when ItaPol week should be, and here it is! I would be very grateful if you took it ;v;
Please pick one of these options so I can start organising it!

Hi there! Welcome to felicombi, a blog dedicated to North Italy x Poland, simply known as ItaPol, FeliFeli or, well, Felicombi!
Our purpose is to spread the love for this rareship by collecting fan art, fanfiction, and more!
"Well, why should I ship them?", you ask? There are lots of reasons! Let's start with their canon interactions. Although we donât really have much official content for them, it is made clear that they are very good friends, who might even have grown up together.
Hell, Poland even told Lithuania that he admires Italy.
And when he sees him while going shopping with Lithuania, he immediately rushes to greet him!
They were very close in the 19th century!! And they talked about their dreams together!
Obviously they are both huge dorks. I donât even have to explain, just look at this strip.
As far as I know, there arenât any other canon interactions between them, which is a great shame... But considering the fact that this is a rarepair, itâs already a lot, isnât it? It really should be more popular.
But, hey! Weâre not finished yet! Letâs review the Italian/Polish shared history, shall we?
Bona Sforza, an Italian-born duchess, became the wife of Sigismund I the Old, king of Poland, in 1518. It is a common legend that the vegetables popularly known as âwĆoszczyznaâ (lit. âitalianâ) were brought in by her when she transferred to Poland.
Many important Polish scientists from the 15th/16th century studied in Italian universities! Ever heard of Copernicus?
Parts of both Italy and Poland used to be under the Austria-Hungary Empire. A military unit called Mickiewicz's Legion was formed in Rome by the Polish poet Adam Mickiewick to help with the Italian Liberation. This was very likely supposed to also be kind of a revenge for the failure known as the Greater Poland Uprising of 1848.
Thanks to Canaletto, a Venetian artist who painted nearly 30 views of Warsaw in the 18th century, the Polish were able to rebuild their capital after it had been destructed in WWII.Â
Italy was also the first European country to recognize Polandâs sovereignty in 1918!
Thereâs a lot more to it than this, though. The âPolish-Italian brotherhoodâ has always been very important, I encourage looking into it since itâs very interesting!Â
And did you know? They mention each other in their official anthems.
For any further questions, feel free to check the F.A.Q., or send an ask!
I truly hope youâll give these cuties a chance, but for now, just enjoy your stay on this blog! ~
