My fandoms and other interests

I originally created this account to write mainly about the Tron franchise, including movies, games and other media, but there are many other subjects I will write about as well, depending on what takes my fancy.

For example, I got into the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam a while ago, and especially the character Allenby Beardsley.

But there’s plenty of other nerdy media I’m into as well. Star Wars, Star Trek, superhero comics of all kinds, various video games, probably too many things to make a complete list.

I also have a great fondness for writing about my home country of Sweden, and describing various fun details, interesting history and interesting parts of the Swedish language, to non-Swedes who might not be aware of them. I’m especially fascinated by how people from other countries might view Swedes (that’s why I’m a fan of Allenby Beardsley, for example, since she’s a Swedish character in a Japanese anime).

My characters

I will occasionally make up Original Characters, though most of them are just intended to fit the plot of some particular story I’m writing, rather than being “all-purpose”.

One notable exception is my main player character in the game City of Heroes, a superheroine named Princess Pop. If you’re curious, I’ve written a profile of her on this City of Heroes character wiki.

I have also come up with two different fursonas, though I don’t consider myself to be very deep into the furry subculture, at least not yet. One is a shark girl named Felezz, the other is a lion girl named Felion.

Other places to find me

I have written a number of different pieces of fanfiction (mostly Tron-related), which you can read on my Archive of Our Own account. There are some shorter stories I’ve written here on Tumblr as well.

I run a blog named The Swedish Games (with an associated Bluesky account), where I write in English about games (electronic and tabletop) created in Sweden, or that are somehow associated with Sweden, most of them pretty obscure and probably unknown outside of their home country. One of these games, Kosmopolska, is a particular favorite of mine, and I’ve made a site on Neocities dedicated entirely to it (available in both English and Swedish).
