,,Just leave my alone" and ,,im so sorry" with an dead Deku/reincarnated Deku AU.
An AU where Izuku commited suÂĄcÂĄde after Bakugou told him to jump of the rooftop and hope for a quirk in his next life.
He get's reborn as the heir to an rich family and with an powerfull quirk , he had nothing to be worried about , he visited the best privat schools , had the best grades, the number one in everything , he was the role model and worked hard for it , but no one knew why he worked so hard.
It's because he remembered his past life where he was a quirkless child and he remembered his old bully.
Since he was at the top , it was just a question of time until he would meet the number one hero , and he did , he was at a hero gala with his family , for the debute of the new number one hero , Dynamight.
Since he got to keep his look and name from his past life , it wasn't hard for Bakugou to reconise him as his dead friend.
So when he confronts him after the gala to abologize for his past actions , he wasn't to supprised when Izuku refuses to accept it and want's to be left alone by him , but it hurts more than anything.
oh this in wonderful, get ready for a somewhat long read
Karma works in very weird and interesting ways. At least Izuku think's that because as far as he knew karma never worked in his favour, ever. And yet he jumps and the next thing he knows he's gaining consciousness as any kid does at the age of five or so. He lives another life because he's been granted that privilege or it's just how death works.
He's not entirely sure as his name is still Izuku, but he's rich now, he has a quirk now and his life, well, it's just fantastic. Anything a kid could ever wish for. Yet somehow it feels empty.
There's no explosive friend by his side, there are no scars littering his skin and no burns to remind him that he's chasing after someone who doesn't want him. There's no Kacchan and it feels great, just empty.
At some point he realizes that Kacchan is still there, still exists but he's much older now. When Izuku turns fifteen Kacchan becomes the number one hero. A dream he's been talking about forever, a dream they used to have together but then Izuku died, Izuku left Kacchan alone.
And yet for all of that he cannot feel sad because did kacchan deserve that? Not really. But would the boy even care if Izuku left? He wasn't sure either. Kacchan was his friend or used to be but he never really acted like one. Izuku just continued to use that title for him because admitting that he was his bully, his tormentor just hurt too much. He clung to a false hope until he died.
Now that he was born again, he thought about it. Kacchan wasn't his friend anymore.
Kacchan wasn't his friend anymore and he should tell him that. So he does.
It's the gala, the big ass hero meets up for the yearly billboard announcement of the top hero list. Izuku gets in there because as he said he's rich now, he has a quirk now. His family name holds influence now. And it shouldn't come as a surprise to him that he does get into the gala that easily.
The suit he's wearing is uncomfortable, the fifteen-year-old him feels weird to be there but he is and it shouldn't matter because when he sees kacchan- Dynamight come up the stage as the number one he forgets about everything else.
He looks worn out by life. He's still brash, still angry and still snapping at everyone. But there are those rough edges only near-death experience can give. But if Kacchan has rough edges Izuku has spikes- he died after all. He died and met the ground and it's entirely Kacchans fault for not catching him.
It's inevitable that he finds Kacchan hanging around alone. He may be number one but he's still Kacchan. And because he's Kacchan he sees him and stills. Izuku knows he still recognizes him. It Would be silly if he didn't.
"Deku '' He's hesitant and Izuku loves it.
"Yeah that's me," Call him crazy but he's happy.
"But," Kacchan looks around eyes wide and filled with panic, "You're dead," He whispers like it's a secret.
"I did die, but I was reborn again," Kacchan stares at him like he'd grown two heads and ok, right it does sound weird, so he smiles.
"Kacchan don't be so surprised," It, the nickname, snapped Kacchan out of his shock because really only he used that nickname on him. No one besides their childhood group did that, but no one knows what had happened to them because one day most of them disappeared. Just like that. Just like Izuku and Kacchan was left alone.
"What the fuck Deku," He growls out and hesitantly reaches out for him but Izuku takes a step back.
"I think you should drop that name, my name is Izuku, it wouldn't be right of the number one hero to keep calling his childhood best friend useless if he's the one who drove that friend to jump off a roof," He meets Kacchans eye's who stares at him in bewilderment.
"What the fuck you're babbling about?" He hisses.
"You don't remember? Of course, you don't who am I kidding, it was the moments that changed my life but to you, it was a normal school day," He laughs swaying on his feet. He's not surprised but damn does it hurt.
"I- I do remember it," Kacchan says quietly, Izuku almost misses it.
"So?"
"And I'm sorry, De- Izuku, I'm so sorry, when I found out you died I-,"
"That's nice and all," Izuku interrupts, he doesn't want to heart it. He doesn't want Kacchans half-assed apology.
"But you know why I came here? Not because I wanted you to know I'm alive, no, it's not like life could turn back, I just wanted you to know that I'm never going to forgive you and I want you to leave me alone," He raised his voice with every word, anger filling his veins because he's tired and Kacchan is here succeeding in ways Izuku couldn't even if now he has everything.
"I've read your interviews you know how you talk about me as if we were actually friends, and maybe you cared but I'm telling you now to shut up and leave my dead name behind, leave me alone or I'll ruin you," Every time Kacchan had been asked about his childhood he always mentioned Izuku, how that was his driving force to be the best. God how fake that sounded, how much he lied about that. If only the world knew.
"You wouldn't" Kacchan sounds defeated and Izuku lets tears roll down his cheeks laughing to himself.
"I already died once, call me petty but nothing can hold me back," He says and escapes. He says that and leaves Kacchan alone and breaks down the next time Kacchan's asked about his childhood when Kacchan stays quiet about him for once. He feels relief but it's still so fake.
He knows karma doesn't work on him and even if he's reborn again, he feels himself living a lie, a secret only two people know of.
You think you can see a small twitch at the corner of his mouth, and he holds your hand more securely. âIf I had met you back then,â he whispers. âPerhaps it would be different. Perhaps Iâd-â He stops, and you shake his hand gently.Â
âDin?âÂ
You tilt your head when he sighs, looking at your knees. âI...may have led someone on who had feelings for me,â he finally admits, and you didnât think you could be more surprised than that until he adds, âShe didnât take it well.âÂ
âAnd...sheâs the one who injured you?â
He nods, pursing his lips. âSet off a flash grenade in my room while I was asleep.âÂ
Horror overwhelms you, and your mouth drops open, eyes widening like saucers. He frowns in frustration, sighing harshly. âIt wouldnât have mattered so much if it wasnât on the ship. The sound reverberating from the metal was beyond anything Iâve felt.âÂ
It takes you a long few moments to gather your thoughts, attempting to wrap your mind around the idea of doing something so cruel to another person. To someone you claimed to have feelings for. âWhat...what happened after that?â you whisper, frowning when you see fresh blood pool from the cut on his lip. He wonât relinquish your other hand, so you grab clean gauze and dab at his mouth with your other.
When you finish, he shrugs against the cushion he lays on, his eyes watching your face. âI had head pain for days. Left the group and found myself on Coruscant with some back alley doctor who gave me pain killers.â He scowls, his other hand drumming his fingers against his abdomen. âI couldnât let him examine me-â He gestures helplessly to his helmet that still sits in your lap, and your face softens with sympathy.
âOh.â
âLost most of my hearing in my left ear,â he murmurs, squeezing your held hand at how your face drains of color. Your shock and disquiet must show on your face, because he gives you a slight smile that is nothing short of handsome. âLearned Dakiit when I came back. Basic Sign, too. Paz taught me,â he says, petting your hand in a soothing motion. âHeâs the only one who knows. And now you.â
âWhy didnât you ever tell me?â you ask, gentle and unaccusing as you reach one hand up to brush your fingertips along the shell of his ear. You feel him shiver beneath you, and the thrill it directs to your belly is new and exciting.Â
âItâs nothing to be concerned about,â he answers promptly with ease, tilting his head to regard you. âI just make sure youâre on my right side so I can hear you.âÂ
I really am a slut for the idea of Max hurt and angry at Billy for how much he cares for El.
Like Hopper takes him in, and he allows Billy to watch El when he and Joyce have their date nights and then it turns into Billy watching Will AND El during date night, which leads to Billy watching El, Will, and Mike during date nights (with Holly there too because if Jonathon and Nancy are out, them why canât Ted and Karen be out too! Save your marriage assholes try harder!). So now Billyâs got El, Will, Mike and Holly every other Thursday and well thatâs not a complete party is it!
Especially once Karen tells Mrs. Sinclair all about how wonderful date night is and how sweet the Hargrove boy is with their kids. Suddenly Billyâs got El, Will, Mike, Holly, Lucas AND Erica (who takes to him like gas to fire! Which is terrifying for everyone involved). Itâs Billy (Holly and Erica because those girls have him whipped) V. 80% of the party most of the time.
Dustinâs got Steve, and they hang out more than Steveâs high school self would have been able to stomach but that means Dustin gets to come over every Thursday too. Once Hollyâs down for the night, and El and Erica are off giggling about whatever girl things had caught their interest that week, and the boys are shouting at each other over planning the newest campaign (they have other interests now too but DND is there game!) Steve and Billy get to sneak off to Billyâs room and makeout for a bit. Which theyâve only be caught doing twice, thank yoy very much!
But the whole time Max is fuming. Sheâs so pissed. Every morning Billy drives up to her house, El already tucked into the back seat, more often then not with Will along side her, he still gives her a ride but itâs different. Itâs so different. Every other Friday morning Billy rolls up, glowing, like GLOWING, like Max needs to buy snow goggles or sheâs go blind glowing. El and Will are still yawning, quiet as they chatter softly about what they all did the night before and Max has to sit and pout in the front listening to them go on and on and on. It doesnât help that when they pull up to the high school Billy slides out to and makes sure El has lunch, and her bag before hugging her close before sending her off.
Max hates it. Billy was her brother first.
And eventually she snaps.
Theyâre all together at the lake, itâs summer once more and everyoneâs exhausted from their first year in high school. Billyâs got Steve tucked into his side as they lazily watch Mike push El on the tire swing. Billy a little on edge the harder Mikeâs newly aquired muscles work, El screams happily as she soars through the air but Billy doesnât stop worrying. Mike gives one last hard shove and Elâs head almost collides with a low hanging branch. Billyâs up and marching over before he can stop himself.
âJesus Wheeler! You trying to scalp my sister or something!â And really no one would have noticed or cared if Max hadnât slammed her skateboard down on the dock, shoved her towel into her bag and stomped away. She gets almost to the entrance of the park before Billy catches up to her, heâs panting a bit (still a little out of shape from the mall incident). She ignores him and pushes at the ground, forcing the board to go faster. Her cheeks now as red as her hair. âSlow the fuck down Maxine! You know Iâm not as fast as I was.â
âThen why are you following me!â She kicks at the ground harder, propelling herself forward a few more feet. Behind her Billy swears and picks up the pace.
âBecause youâre upset, and I want to know why!â Heâs still panting and Max chances a glance at his face, heâs straining. She should stop, or go faster so heâll eventually give up. But Billy Hargrove doesnât give up.
Abruptly Max comes to a stop, causing Billy to stumble a bit before righting himself and leaning over to catch his breath. âShould have just taken the car.â He mumbles before straightening and staring down at her. âOk shitbird. Out with it. What happened? Sinclair says he didnât do anything, that true.â
âWhy do you care so much!â Max snaps and Billy rolls his eyes.
âSorry for caring about my sister when sheâs upset!â
âOh! OH! Now Iâm YOUR sister? What about El! I thought she was your sister!â And now Max is crying, angry hurt tears sliding down her face as she swings at Billy. Who easily catches her small fist in his hand, mouth open as he stares down at her. âYouâre so-so chummy! Every morning I get to sit there and listen to you fawn all over your new sister! Itâs barely been four months and suddenly sheâs your sister! Guess Iâm not good enough, guess I gotta save you from a monster before I can even be considered Billy Hargroveâs sister!â Sheâs crying in ernest now and Billy crumbles a bit, he leans down and pulls her in close. Max sobs into his shoulder and he gently shushes her, hand rubbing cirlcing into her back. A memory from California forming in Billyâs mind, a beach, a Max getting hurt falling from a rock wall, tears and then the first hug they ever shared. âI was here first!â
âYou were. You were here first.â Billy agrees as he pulls her closer, the memory morphing into a neon filled nightmare. Pain in his chest and Maxâs voice screaming for him. âHey, hey itâs okay.â He pulls Max away, kneeling ever so slightly so he can look at her face. âIâm sorry.â
Itâs not the first time Billy has said those words but just like the last time they make Max cry. She tries to cover her face but Billy doesnât let her.
âLook Max, Iâm shit at the sibling thing okay and I wasnât the best brother after we moved here but youâve never stopped being my sister.â His breath hitches. âYouâve been one of the only people in this hick town I actually care about, who actually cared about me. I should have done a better job protecting you and now worrying about covering my own ass back then,â He pauses to swip at the tears still sliding down Maxâs cheeks. âBut Iâve gotten better at that. Iâm sorry I didnât try harder before this. Youâre my sister Maxine. Nothings changing that, no amount of time I spend with El or Will or anyone else will change that.â He gives her a shake and Max sniffs, letting Billy pull her back into a hug. âI love you shitbird.â

If Sharing a Body was a Little More Complicated- Morro Flips Out and Swears a Bunch, Featuring Hurt/Comfort and Character Development
It was an unfortunate side effect of being in a living body, the fact that it required sleep. Eventually though, they had to rest. Lloydâs exhausted psyche would slip into dreams, and Morro would lie down and close their eyes, his own consciousness remaining alert within, to keep the little ninja from taking back control. Â
It was boring.Â
So when, during their third such nap since his takeover, he felt Lloyd tense up from a nightmare, he decided to enter the dream with him and enjoy the show.Â
Dreams were odd things. The dusty landscape was indistinct and constantly shifting, but never felt out of place. The contents too, the things that happened within, were also inconsistent; and for Morro, who was floating above it all without being truly connected to it, it was more than a little confusing.Â
Below him was a small child wearing pajamas and a black cloak, huddled in a ball on the ground and crying as a shadowy monster with glowing red eyes loomed over him. The scene flickered, and it became clear that the crying child was Lloyd himself as his form changed to his current appearance. At the same time the other ninja arrived, poised to fight against the monster with him. For just second it seemed like the nightmare part of this dream was about to end- but then the shadow reached the white one. There was an explosion, a horrible sound of scraping metal, and when the shadow drew back, the white ninja was left a scattered pile of mechanical debris. Lloydâs shape reverted back to a child as he screamed, reached out, but couldnât seem to move, as the shadow swallowed up his friends one by one and spat them back out disturbingly broken. Alone once more, the child looked up into the red eyes above him, shaking as silent tears tracked rivers down his cheeks.
âWhy... Father...?âÂ
Morro had seen enough. He left the dream, rising back to near the surface of consciousness. It was obvious what the dream meant emotionally, but it made him curious about his hostâs actual history.Â
So he went looking.Â
Sharing a body while still being a separate entity was an interesting experience. He had access to everything, but didnât necessarily have to connect with it. So while he could use all its senses and move its limbs, he hadnât bothered to look into Lloydâs mind. There had never been a reason to. Now though, he was seeking information, combing through the boyâs memories to find his answers.Â
And the more he looked, the more enraged he became. Until he could no longer sit still, yanking them into wakefulness, and flying out of his small hideout in Stix at full speed.Â
Despite the early hour, the ninja and their sensei were gathered around a table in the main room of the tea shop, trying to come up with some sort of plan. They were unprepared for the sudden hurricane that blasted the door off its hinges and swept into the store, sending everything flying off the shelves and up-ending nearly every piece of furniture in the room. Following the storm was its source; Morro came flying in, glowing too bright, and clearly so angry that he couldnât properly contain his powers if he wanted to. He was shaking with rage as he glared at Wu, the wind whipping around him with gale force.Â
âWHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?â The ghost shrieked, his voice only empowered by his element, booming loudly enough to shake the building.Â
âWHAT WERE YOU THINKING LETTING A LITTLE KID GET INVOLVED IN ALL THIS SHIT!? THIS FUCKING 12 YEAR OLD KID!? WHO ALREADY HAD MORE SHIT TO DEAL WITH THAN HE SHOULD, AND YOU THOUGHT WHAT? âCOOL LETâS MAKE IT WORSEâ!? WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU WHEN BOTH HIS PARENTS JUST DIPPED OUT HUH!? THE ONLY FAMILY HE HAD LEFT AND YOU JUST LET HIM GET DUMPED AT THE SHITTIEST SCHOOL EVER!? A SCHOOL FULL OF WANNABE BULLIES- DID YOU EVEN KNOW HE GOT KICKED OUT!? THAT THIS TINY KID WAS FUCKING HOMELESS FOR OVER 3 MONTHS WHILE YOU WERE BUSY PLAYING MASTER!? HE NEVER GOT TO BE A KID AT ALL!! EVEN I HAD MORE OF A CHILDHOOD THAN HE DID!!â, he choked slightly, tears finally escaping down his cheeks, even as he continued to scream, âYOU DRAGGED HIM INTO THIS HELL- YOU DRAGGED ALL OF THEM!! I SAW IT IN HIS MEMORIES!! ALL THE SHIT THEYâVE BEEN THROUGH- YOU THINK JUST CAUSE THEY HAVE POWERS THATâS OK!? THE ROBOT KID FUCKING DIED!! I DIED!! YOU STARTED ALL OF THIS, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!! NO WONDER LLOYD HAS NIGHTMARES!! WHY- JUST WHY!?!?â
Finally, both the wind and Morroâs rant petered out as he floated above them, breathing heavily.Â
The silence was deafening after that. No one knew what to say. eventually it was Kai who broke the quiet, his voice meek, unsure.Â
âDoes that mean.. youâll give him back...?âÂ
The ghost blinked. In his anger he had forgotten everything else. His gaze shifted to take in the other ninja, their expressions all sharing the same desperate and frightened look. He could feel Lloyd inside his mind, exhausted and scared, reaching out not as a ninja, but as a child, for the people he considered his family...
He had everything heâd ever wanted. All the power heâd sought after since he was a child. And in front of him was the evidence of the price of that power. This group of kids who had seen so much more danger and destruction than anyone should have to- and Lloyd who had no choice but to take the responsibility of leadership, because destiny said he had to.Â
All of a sudden, he just felt tired. As he sunk to the floor, all the ambition, anger and resentment that fueled him drained away. Once he was standing in front of the others, he pulled out, releasing Lloyd and drifting back, as the boy collapsed, was enveloped by his siblings in a tight group hug.
There were a lot of tears, and soft, happy voices sharing welcome homes. Tensions rose slightly as Wu stepped towards them, Morroâs ghostly shoulders hiking up as he felt a bizarre surge of protectiveness for these near strangers he only knew from someone elseâs memories.Â
Then he realized Wu was crying. The man had stopped few feet away from the pile of young ninja, looking so much older than he ever had before.Â
âI... am so sorry.â He was shaking. Somehow seeing him looking so fragile was frightening.Â
âI never meant- I didnât think... I was only thinking about this place my father created and the prophecy he left behind. Not the lives of the people who were in it. I should have been better...âÂ
Someone in the group sobbed, and the old master was pulled into the hug, trying to hold all of them at once as he hiccuped along with them, more âIâm sorryâs being mumbled into their hair.Â
Morro watched them, and as he did, he realized something.Â
Wu was human.Â
As old, as strong, as wise as he was; he wasnât some infallible deity. He made mistakes, sometimes huge ones, just like anybody else. And when he did, or realized that he did, he acknowledged it, and apologized. Morro couldnât remember how Wu had treated him once it was clear he wasnât the green ninja, only his own feeling of betrayal. Maybe it just didnât have to matter any more.Â
He drifted over to the group and tugged on Wuâs sleeve to get his attention. The masterâs gaze was heartbroken as he turned his head looked at his old student.Â
âOh, Morro...â, but the ghost just shook his head. He already knew. He didnât need to hear it.Â
âI donât want to be the green ninja any moreâ, he smiled ruefully, âBut Iâve opened a can of worms that I canât put back on my own...â
Barely two months since they popped up, and Cyn's already letting some of their more theatrical traits out, much to the amusement of the House of Lamentation. Well, most of the House, Samson corrects.
Their love of a certain musical is one of those small things that didn't get revealed by choice, however. How they revel in it now.
"I want freedom, but to get my freedom, I need 'em, to get a living person to say my name~"
Samson and Mammon, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice?," right on cue. They've had this song on repeat all morning while they cook breakfast, so he's become familiar enough with the lyrics by this point.
"I know that beggars can't be choosers, but did they have to be such losers~ Both of them are deathly dull and lame!~"
Beel joins in this time, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice." He's already finished the food they brought from work.
"Dear God slash Satan," here they point their spatula at the mentioned brother, who raises an eyebrow over his book, "why'd you send these bed-wetters!" They return to their pancakes, doing a little dance while they can't move from the stove. "Even like a tax attorney would've been better!" The music cuts off, but Cyn' pays no mind. "Somebody with gravitas, somebody to fear-"
Lucifer clears his throat, wearing the closest to 'casual' he'd probably ever be seen in outside his bedroom.
"Some of us are trying to enjoy their days off, without their sleep being interrupted by your caterwauling."
Cyn' flips the pancakes before putting them on top of the growing stack, no longer singing, dancing, or even humming.
It's quite conversations while Cyn' finishes cooking, with only one loud "BEEL!" from them when he tries to grab the bacon off the griddle.
It's after everyoneâs started eating that Cyn' speaks to Lucifer.
"You know, that song you cut off's from a musical. A Broadway production, even. And,â they wave their fork at the eldest, âyou interrupted a soliloquy."
Oh no.
They get a sharp grin.
Please donât-
"So you're the one who's being rude." Without taking a breath, "Mammon I will give you my paycheck from Hell's Kitchen if you get me out of here now."
"Got it!" He quickly scoops them up and bolts out the door.
Great.
Asmo looks the very picture of offended, Beelâs grabbing the food from their plate, Leviâs snickering, Belphie has this mix of shock and delighted awe on his face, Satanâs coughing, and Lucifer is taking that about as well as youâd expect.
âMAAAAAMMOOON!â
Mammon comes back Cynâ-less, saying they were able to crash at work. âYeah, apparently theyâre one of the few who actually come back on a regular basis. Guess that has some perks with the boss.â
Itâs nearly dinner, and still, no oneâs seen them but Beel. âThey said âhiâ when they came in.â That was about an hour ago, according to Beelâs stomach.
So Samson searches the house. Not in the kitchen, the living room, the library, the planetarium, the attic room, the theater, or the music room. Guess heâll check their room again.
Their D.D.D. is still there, playing thunderstorms. Thereâs a new sound, maybe? Is it coming from the closet? He opens the door, and finds Cynâ sitting in a ball on the floor.
âEverything alright?â Samson sits just outside the closet, facing the door.
They shrug. âJust... Had a bad night at work, thatâs all. Ran outta energy in the middle of my shift.â
Oh. Well, âThat sucks.â
âYes, it does. Boss let me take a break though, once I explained what happened.â
He nods.
âAnd it got me thinkinâ, how it always feels like Iâm performing, even when Iâm supposed ta be relaxing.â They start drawing in the carpet. âHow hard it is, pretending to be normal. Making sure Iâm making eye-contact, that Iâm not âacting out,â that Iâm paying attention to what people are saying.â
Samson notices someoneâs stopped in the hall, and silently shoos them away.
âJust sayinâ I know what itâs like, to make yourself boring on purpose.â Cynâ adds a dot to whatever they drew. âYou donâ gotta do everything yourself, Samson. I can take care of myself.â He honestly doubts that, and he really feels bad for doing so, but if hunkering in their closet is their knee-jerk reaction to being overwhelmed, then how did they survive in the Devildom as long as they claim?
