(Dont forget the repeating the same sentences/sounds over and over again, getting so distracted by Shiny Things, forgetting that you have to actually talk to people, and also forgetting that neurotypical people cant just pick up where you both left off after Not Talking for 5 hears)

Before I was professionally diagnosed, my mom would say things along the lines of ājust...do [perfectly normal person function]ā and I would get so so frustrated because the entire issue is that I CANT
And then I finally got on medicationšAnd then I kept having extremely bad reactions to the medicationšSo now Iāve been taking a break from the medication
And the worst part about it is that the ADHD just becomes more and more of an obstacle as you get older. So while my twin bro is functioning perfectly well in society, I am. Strugglingš
And anyone I talk to just says to āget out there moreā or āget another job so you have less time to get distractedā etc etc but the advice is always something akin to ājust do it rightā and itās maddening because I would if I could
Anyways, that was an unnecessary rant that no one asked for, so I apologize. But just so you know, bald nines is the one that does the voring ;3
