Secure Suit Sunday

These daisies at our yard continue to come back every year brightening around the house. This simple looking flower can make me feel happier for sure. The assurance that we will continue to see them growing back around this time of each year is a relief because our hydrangeas have never grown back their flowers ever since the first year we moved to our new home. Both flowers are supposed to be right next to each other. One makes me feel secure while the other saddens my heart every time I look at the designated spots. Feeling secure is so important to all of us. It means promise. It means protection. It means love. Thinking about how much I’d like to feel secure in my life and how important it is for me to give the same security to people whom I love. It takes conscious effort.
