Being a good person sucks!
A women outside of my workplace asked me for some money for food and I was already late for work but I took my time to fish out some money. Once I gave her $2 she asked for a little more so I gave her 1 more dollar. She thanked me and I ran inside to clock in. A coworker of mine commented on me giving them money and said that that women and her husband had been out there all morning asking for money and they had told her it was for a bus home. Another had said it was for gas money. Needless to say I was livid! My boss told them they couldn't loiter and bother the costumers, so they took off but man I felt used and taken advantage of.
