I’ve got paper cuts. They’re shallow, but there’s tons of them. Kind of like my worries. It accumulates. The longer you look at the stars, the more you can see. The longer I look at your face, the more freckles I can count. It’s mesmerizing. You’ve got fucking tide pools in your eyes but I forgot to put my contacts in. Your breath smells like roses and I’ve got an empty fucking tic tac box and I have to watch where i touch with my fingertip bombs because ink on paper is okay but once it gets into the bloodstream it’s toxic.
