Firstly, I’m so sorry you had trouble reaching me. Opened my inbox to 7 messages in surprise, only to find that FIVE of them belonged to you because tumblr must have sent them ALL AT ONCE (they hadn’t shown up prior). I will be sure to punch Tumblr for you. By the way, it tickles me to hear you are in Germany, as Germany is very close to my heart and I have several lovely German friends over there.

I also read your e-mails that you sent (I didn’t even know someone could e-mail a tumblr username but heyo~) and I’ll respond in e-mail as well just in case you miss this.

Unfortunately, Federnelke, when you can’t hack because your system firmware is too high, neither can anyone else change your file for you. You see, that’s because you still have to be able to UPLOAD the file someone changes for you to your game, which requires the hacks.

So, let’s say you sent me your save file – I could certainly change it for you – but when I sent it back to you, you wouldn’t be able to upload the save file to your game without the hacking tools. So it wouldn’t work that way. You’d still be stuck with your old game and a useless file you can’t use.

If it DID work that way, I know I myself and a few others would probably already be offering “hacking services” to the non-hacker community. Unfortunately, it doesn’t.

There’s only one way for someone to be able to edit your cartridge for you when your DS is upgraded past the point of no return – you either have to borrow a friend’s 3DS that can hack, or give your cartridge to someone with a 3DS that can hack. You will have to physically send them the cartridge.

I would offer for you to send me yours but Germany is a long way away and I would hate for your game to get lost in customs overseas (and I don’t have the money to replace your game if it does get lost in transit). If you want we can discuss it more in e-mail.
