She suppressed a whimper, when she felt tears pooling in her eyes.
Not knowing when they would see each other again -if, even- caused the bleakest of disquiet to take root in her heart.

The Carnevale has always been Lucia's favourite celebration. But now that Federico has returned to Firenze, she cannot find peace in her heart to rejoice for the event.
Will they meet again?

Finally I can present to you the First Part of “Rondó Veneziano”, the ficlet requested by the Dear Nonnie who has been so patient with me.
Nonnie, truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for waiting all this time.
I may have diverged a little, so there will be Angst first, and then SMLUFF.
It won’t take me long to upload the Second Part, for I am almost done writing it; I just need to adjust a few parts a little and it should be good to go soon enough. The Third part is outlined already.
