the departure sucks from the beginning cause my flight was delayed for 11 FREAKING HOURS that i could miss gabi's public appearance. i called the airline right away to reschedule a flight, and they put me in the only flight of the day that was nearest to miami, i had to take an uber for 2+ hours to get there. all paid by myself. fuck you american airline

but after seeing gabi standing in front of me it's all worth it. not so many people there comparing to mclaren or williams fan zone & i was even the only one wearing a #5 cap lmao

gabi was nice and chill, and his brother enzo was with him! he complained about miami traffic immediately and joking about he and nico "will be at the wall together for competing in an audi RS5". the Q&A was short and then he basically got everyone signed and took selfies. the other fans i talked to were very cool too! we were happy for each other after getting his autographs.

it's a pity haas didn't have any public event for miami this year while other teams did, but a friend coincidentally stayed at the same hotel as ollie and brought me in as a guest. (i respect the boundary, didn't go anywhere other than the lobby and front door)

the friend told me that ollie refused to sign for some fans last morning; he realized those people only wanted to sell autographs, but i was still super nervous

no wonder why gabi says ollie is super funny 😭 it was 9pm when he got back from sprint quali, and 1 second after getting out of the car he was already chatting around... after a busy day still in a good mood and energetic. he noticed my cap right away and walked to me, told me the beartoleto fanart is nice (the art is my header). suddenly checo's dad was there with a baby boy in his arm 😭😭😭 (checo's sister paola was beside too, that's her son) he told ollie who he is and the baby is enzo. ollie greeted them and they took a pic together

i got signed, gave him the birthday gifts and thought it's all done. but then this guy started talking to other people in the lobby again, no rushing to his room at all. he said thank you in japanese to my gf and bowed to her like a deer from Nara after knowing she supports Ayao. (forgot to record it because i was dead laughing) and i wished him happy early birthday~ felt like we're causally chatting with an old friend or neighbor instead of a formula one driver. so unbelievable (he stayed for another 10 mins with others who recognized him)

oh and the whole bearman family are very friendly, david looks like the most introverted one but still smiled to me. alicia is stunning and sweet in person i can't believe why there're people attacking her online. gigi wanted to talk to us too after ollie left, he asked where we from and told us to enjoy the race 😄
