I’m not blessed because I’m an artist, I’m an artist because I am blessed.
We are all blessed, and I believe we all have God-given talents. Whatever your talent is and whatever you’re good at, remember, it is all because of Him! Those talents you should be proud of, but you should not brag about, are all His! He is behind of all these!
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24. Although God wants us to be happy of the talents He has given us, He didn’t give us such gifts for the sake of our own benefits, it is not given for our own fortune. Do everything as if you’re doing it for the Lord, we are to please the Lord, not the men. Remember, put God first in everything you do. Use your talent to bring back His glory, to honor Him.
“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10. These talents we have shouldn’t be kept in the shelves, it should be used to serve and benefit others, and of course, to bring back His glory! We were given what we have for a purpose, and we can use all of these to share the good news, to share His words! Our talents can be used as a building block to help others see the light and know His words; to know Him more. Let God use you and your talent as an instrument, as His living letter. We are so blessed that ourselves alone can be a blessing to others!
“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1 Corinthians 4:7. And what’s more important is, don’t brag about your talents as if you haven’t received it as God’s gift! Be humble in all you do, be humble at all times!
“These hands will declare all the greatness of God in me.” -- God In Me, Liveloud.
So are you using your talents the way He wants you to use it? Let’s use our talents to honor Him and to bless others! All His!
