Answered but imma take this opportunity to talk about his pod
1. His mom, he’s a lot closer with her
2. His dad, their relationship isn’t the best but he misses him
3. He doesn’t have any siblings, but he was really close with another merman in the pod who was kind of like his brother (his mom was best friends with his mom and they grew up together)
4. Last spring before he was caught he was swimming with a mermaid that he really liked, he doesn’t really think about her much anymore (he used to like her because she was really good at hunting, and obviously he has really mixed feelings about that now.
5. His grandmother, she’s a really talented storyteller (and has quite a few not-so-clean jokes she still likes to tell!)
