The duplicator couldn't help but let out an accidental nervous laugh at her response to him, now shifting his weight from one side to the other awkwardly as the detailed images she just described were replaying in his mind.

"Well, it's a pretty dang good thing that that ain't gonna happen ta me. Don't sound like a good time at all." In an attempt to lighten mainly his own mood, as he usually does, he duplicated himself, the clone appearing right next to the new girl.

"All them crazy thoughts really goin' on inside that noggin a' yours?" He said with a single poke of a red-clad finger against the side of her forehead. Bold.

Okay, so he wasn't exactly expecting Izzy to throw him so hard against a wall that his ears rang and head vibrated. Maybe he was losing his touch, or maybe he was going soft on the girl. "Tch..." He blinks once, twice, and sneers while clamoring for Isabella's forearms- a harsh cold suddenly spikes into her system, clothing beginning to frost over.

It heavily depends on the circumstances. In short, yes, if he perceived a betrayal from the other party. Perceive is the optimal word here. Given the amount of time he’s devoted to pining after unrequited lovers, he’s almost looking for a betrayal most of the time. Betrayal is something he’s come to expect from the people he allowed to get close to him. We have Linda to thank for making that paranoia of his actually founded in reality, but he’s always been fragile.

What he would do to harm his beloved in this context, though, also entirely depends on the individual. Be certain, though, that it will result in total ego death for that person. And those of whom are too resilient for Jonathan’s verbal barbs?

They end up like Becky Albright. Not a single waking moment of certain privacy.

Jonathan’s relationship with his identity is a strange one. He’s certain of the components that comprise his personality and identity -- that he’s bookish, standoffish and rude, but a romantic deep down, those sort of things. But he’s always looked into the mirror and felt an uncanny wave of discomfort that the thing looking back at him in the mirror is him. At first, it wasn’t due to any body dysmorphia because he hadn’t learned it, but soon enough that would take up residence in his psyche and never leave.

When he was young it would strike him as strange that he could only see through his own eyes. That he’d never be able to feel what other people felt or understand how they think. In this sort of sense, he felt imprisoned by his physical self. This of course relates to the experience of growing up with no/low empathy. It’s only in the later years of his life that he’s making the effort to learn empathy.
