Fuchsia “Delta’s Sarah” flower (filter/no filter) We got some flowers for the hummingbirds to feed from that finally bloomed a couple of weeks AFTER the hummingbirds all left. Fuchsias are odd flowers in that the blooms face downward. Yes, I had my camera almost upside down for this picture. The first image is with #niksoftwarecolorefexpro “Infrared” filter (color no. 5 with reduced contrast) while the 2nd image is without. stylized “Pisces” lapel pin One of my personal purchases/indulgences from #zenkaikon2022 ; a new lapel pin. This is my western astrological symbol, “Pisces.” I really liked the artist’s interpretation and design (bought a total of five pins from the vendor). A delicate, natural balancing act The clouds had finally started to recede to reveal the sunshine and blue skies. With the ice on the branches of the tree (and trees in the background) against the sunlit sky and darker clouds in the background, I really loved the dichotomy and contradictions in the image.
