piggyback ---- my  muse  gives  yours  a  piggyback  ride.
Another serene day in the bustling streets of Konoha. Minato loved days like this --- people laughing and smiling. Children playing with no care in the world what went on outside of the village. Thatâs the way it should be. Thatâs the way heâd try to keep them. The sudden pressure from behind made him turn his blue eyes to the source. Hands reflexively grab onto small ankles, fingers gently curling around them. A flashing smile made him smile brightly in return. Naruto. He could feel his sonâs chakra from a mile away --- it just seemed to radiate from his child like a beacon.Â
Wherever Naruto went he seemed to brighten at least one personâs day. Minato took in his boyâs appearance, ah, he was causing a ruckus again --- there was paint splattered on his round whiskered face. A sigh was heard from the Jonin as he continued walking through the village, giving his son the piggyback ride he deserved. The victim was sure to show themselves soon. Naruto was a sly little thing, he knew Minato was meandering the village and now, he was being used as a scapegoat.Â
â Tou-chan, tou-chaaaan ! How can I become better than Sasuke ?! Itâs not fair âttebayo ! â Came his obnoxious, whiny tone. Minato sweat-dropped with a nervous grin. To have a rival such as Sasuke was actually heart-warming. The more they grew together, the stronger they both would become one day. Scratching his cheek with his finger, he could only answer with a grin and a wink, â You know how you can be better, Naruto ? Never give up no matter how many times Sasuke knocks you down. You ARE my son, after all. â Kushina would tell him to knock the boyâs lights out but Minato had a softer way of approaching things. His boy needed to make some friends.
Twilight. If they werenât home soon, Kushina would be worried. Everyone knew Naruto tended to wander places where he wasnât supposed to. Still not a sight on the pain victim, however, before he stopped in front of their home Minato looked up at the stone faces. His forehead turned blue as his mouth hung open and his eyes widened. Oh no. It wasnât a random personâs property he had painted over. . .but the HOKAGE STONE FACES ! Minatoâs grip on his son tightened a bit before disappearing in thin air --- the next stop, home. Quickly taking his son off his back he gently ushered Naruto to the door with a small grin.Â
â Go on ahead, Naruto. Iâll be back shortly. Tell youâre mother Iâll be late tonight and not to worry, okay ? â It was a parents job to clean up their childâs mistake, right ? Hopefully, the graffiti on the Thirdâs face could be water jutsuâd off. . .he had a long night ahead of him.
