also, I’m preeeetty sure it is actually illegal for german police to use water cannons at such low temperatures (barely above freezing)! but they also used pepper spray, unnecessary physical violence and other illegal tactics, as usual, shitting on basic rights like the right to assembly, press freedom, right to freedom (not being detained without reason and proper procedures) and on and on.
