Q: Do you think Newt has had a positive impact on your life?
“It’s the first time I thought of that, but Yeah, I think he had. When you go on set, and you handle magical creatures... you have to channel your inner nine year old. That’s something that human beings should do more often...It’s very good for the soul.”
Q: Has fatherhood changed the way you look at your job and the acting process, the roles you pick?
"That’s a good question. What it changed is the nomadic quality, kind-of the circus-like quality of travelling around the World. It’s upheaval. It’s like...it’s physically more complicated. so it makes you really interrogate the scripts and the work, as whether you really want to take Iris out to nursery, and all these sort of things. And that’s quite good...kind of think the level of the work through. Is it worth it?”

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Jude Law, Katherine Waterson and Eddie Redmayne to talk about “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.” Watch the video to find out how J.K. Rowling shared secrets with the cast, and how Jude prepared to play Dumbledore, and more.
''I'm promoting 'Fantastic Beasts' so people keep saying, 'What spell would you dream of doing?' I'm like literally just a two-hour sort of sleep spell, people suggest gin but I haven't gotten there yet!...''
“There was one scene, in which we had to walk down to the Seine, the river Seine, and they just decided not to build stairs. And so for all of that money spent, we basically then - I was just walking around as Newt, and then I had to sort of do one of those... And basically I’ve been waiting all my life to do that, like drama school, all of those things, but it transpired, I was really bad at it, because that moment just before I was about to walk down, I’d be like...So, Yeah, that was a disaster. I think they cut that bit.”
- Eddie Redmayne in The Ellen Show
"I think what was going on historically at that time for the muggle people, it was heading towards the...definitely the rise of evil, that is, and it does feel more grown-up and more...there is definitely a kind of thriller quality, a darker thriller quality to it." - Eddie Redmayne
On set reports with Colleen Atwood, Eddie Redmayne, Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston, and some bts footages in the video...
