“Y/N, where are we going?” your boyfriend complains from the passenger seat. You thought it would be fun to take him out to do something he had never done before. Plus, you thought it would make a fun video while you were at it. He was complaining earlier in the week that he didn’t know what to record. Also, that fans had been bugging him about when you were going to be in another video. The last one he posted with you in it was a couple months back and featured a Q&A, which did quite well for views. He brought up simply doing another Q&A, but you wanted to change it up. That’s when you came up with your idea to take him on a surprise date and return later for part two, which could include a Q&A. 

Blindfolding Blaze was not an issue in the slightest. In fact, you knew that he would never in a million years guess where you were taking him. Hence why you simply let him gaze out the window as he tried to guess where you were taking him. “Hmmmm” he pondered, “road trip?” 

“Nope” you say.

“San Diego for the Day?” he asks.

“Nope” you state.

“Wild animal park?” he guesses.

“Nope” you say.

“Beach day?” he inquires.

“Nope” you state, smiling.

“Surprise concert?” he asks.

“Nope, you’re not going to guess it” you remind him.

“Some sport event or sports thingy” he guesses.

“Nope” you say.

Sighing, he expresses a deep pout and says, “why can’t you just tell me? I’ll pretend I don’t know for the video.”

Laughing, you respond, “I don’t believe you have ever gone and done this, which is why you won’t guess it. Besides, we’re almost there!”

Pulling up to the location, Blaze is even more puzzled: “Okay, so you’re either plotting to kill me or planning to leave me here stranded.”

Laughing even more, you shake your head and say, “Neither of those are correct.”

Groaning, he complains, “Y/N, did you make a wrong turn? There’s no way a freaking farm is where you actually wanted us to go??” 

You get out of the car and say nothing until he follows suit. You walk around the car to his side and tell him, “I’m taking you strawberry picking so we can make fresh jam later and I figured it would be fun! It’s a beautiful day out and we can do the Q&A while we make the jam!” 

Noticing the smile on your face and recognizing the effort you put into planning everything, he smiles and says, ‘Okay, this does sound at least interesting, but I have no idea how to make jam.”

Laughing, you say, “I know you don’t, but I do. Plus think of how yummy it will be.”

Chuckling at how cute you are he says, “Okay. You do realize we are going to need a ton of extra for everyone else in the house, right? They’ll either want to participate and make their own, or be upset we had all this fun and didn’t bring any back for them.”

Pecking him on the lips with a quick kiss, you state: “guess we better start picking then.”

The farm you visited was nice enough to give you both a tour and tell you where the best berries were. They even let you film a bit to record every five seconds of Blaze asking you, “Y/N, is this one okay?” 

Looking up and at the small berry he would be holding, you would laugh and say, “Lucas, I’m sure all the ones you pick out will be fine as long as they are red.” 

Putting more into his basket, he says, “I know, I just want it to be the best jam!”

Rolling your eyes at how cute he is, you remind him, “Babe, we need a couple hundred berries. At the rate you’re going, we will still be here tomorrow picking them.”

Every once in a while, Blaze would stop and snapchat or make an Instagram story about how you were trying to kill him with manual labor. That or he would try to say that you were only using him to make food later. Some of them were quite funny, while others were randomly about how cute he thought you looked while picking the fruit. 

Finally, after a decent amount of time picking fruit, you both had acquired enough berries to make what you needed, plus some extra. Paying for the goods and hopping in your car, you two drove the hour to two hours back to LA. 

You had to make a quick run into Walmart to get some extra supplies in the event other people wanted to make jam, too. Loading up the car, Blaze turns to see everything you got and says, “Y/N, do we actually need all of this to make some simple jam?”

Chuckling at his reaction, you would nod and say, “Yes. If you preserve it the wrong way you can die.”

Just then his eyes go wide, “You mean you plan on trusting ME to not kill myself with something I know nothing about?” 

Rolling your eyes, you say, “Babe, I’ve done this a bunch of times and I’ll be right there step by step. I can’t believe you’re scared of making some simple jam.”

Finally arriving back at the FaZe house, you and Blaze take everything into the kitchen. Just like he predicted, some fellow FaZe members notice everything and are quick to ask questions. “What is everything here even for?” “What are you guys making?” “Can I help?” “I want to be in your video, let me help!” After answering everyone’s questions, you and Blaze finally agreed to let them help.

You set up multiple work stations. Of course you are greeted with some simple complaints of: “Why do [they] have that spoon/bowl and we have this one?” Needless to say, it took a bit of convincing to tell everyone the end product would be the same because everyone has the same ingredients. Once that was all settled, you guys could finally put everything together and start making the jam.

What was supposed to be a Q&A turned into you giving some of the FaZe clan a cooking lesson on preserved foods. As much as Blaze had fun making everything with everyone, he was kind of looking forward to just making something with you and spending some quality time together. His jam partner, Alex, notices that he seems a little bothered by something and asks, “Yo, did you fuck up a step? What’s up?”

Mixing up his berries and sugar, Blaze sighs and says, “Nah, I guess I was just looking forward to making this with Y/N and it’s turned into... well, this.”

Chuckling, Alex says, “Well gee thanks, glad to know I wasn’t your first choice.”

A small smile gracing his features after hearing Alex’s comment, he looks over and notices your adorable laugh echoing the room and the way your smile makes him want to smile as well. You are preoccupied by Alyssa messing up on a step and knocking things over. Jam and strawberry bits go flying and it happens to get mostly on your shirt and face, only to result in you laughing while Alyssa was freaking out. Meanwhile you’re simply trying to calm her down and explain it will still turn out fine and yummy and not to worry about the mess. Cleaning off the strawberry stains you now have all over your shirt was going to be a pain later, but the smiles on everyone’s faces were worth it.

Wrapping up at that station, you make your way to Blaze and check out their progress with everything. He can’t help but laugh at your new appearance. Proudly, Alex announces, “Let it be known we have the best jam and we needed the least amount of help.” 

Laughing at everyone’s side bar comments, you look to Blaze and say, “Best jam ever, huh?” 

He smiles down at you and gives you a quick peck on the lips with his soft ones and says, “Yep. Not nearly as tasty as you though” with a quick smirk and wink. 

Rolling your eyes you simply say, “Yeah, yeah, sure” before walking over to another table.

Once everything was finished and cleaned up, it was much later than you originally expected to finish. To be honest, there was easily enough content to make it into two videos. Everyone was proud of their jam and couldn’t wait to try the finished product in a couple days. Shirt now covered in unpredicted strawberry stains, you ask Blaze, “Hey, babe, can I borrow one of your shirts? Mine is a bit.... well a wreck.”

Laughing as he takes a moment to look up and down at your figure, he says, “Of course, babe, but only if I get to cuddle you in it after?”

Acting as though you were ever considering saying no, you say, “Hmmm, I think that’s a fair trade.”

Taking your hand in his, he guides you to his room and quickly gives you a new shirt to wear. Immediately after changing, you sprawl out on his bed and complain, “I’m tired, teaching FaZe how to cook is exhausting.”

Laughing, Blaze lays on his bed next to you and gestures for you to lay closer to him. Moving in closer, the two of you gently plant kisses on each other’s lips and succumb to a deep kiss occasionally. Simply laughing and enjoying each other’s presence, Blaze says to you, “I had fun today, thanks for the surprise.” Smiling, you respond, “You’re welcome, babe. I like taking you out on adventures like that. Maybe next time just the two of us, though, when it comes to part two.” You laugh a bit at the last part.

More seriously, Blaze says, “Yeah, to be honest I was a little bummed that I didn’t really get to make it with you. I’d probably enjoy it more if you were by my side throughout the process instead of Alex.” Arms around you he continues by saying, “You’re certainly much easier on the eyes.”

Seeing the pink hue on his cheeks, you blush slightly and kiss him briefly on the lips. You then say, “Next time it’ll just be the two of us. Private lessons are going to cost you, though,” you finish saying with a smirk.

Grinning at your suggestive bargain, he moves in closer to your lips and says, “I think I know more than enough ways to compensate you.”

A bit of a longer story, I hope you guys enjoyed it! Honestly I’d love to take someone strawberry picking and make fresh jam with them after. Feel free to send in your requests and who you want them about!

Listening to music and singing along in the car was one of your favorite past times. Of course, your boyfriend knew of this and would often play along with you. The two of you even made a bit of a game out of it. Taking turns picking out songs, it was always full of laughs and quick kisses at red lights. The occasional snapchat showed how amazing you two’s singing/rapping skills were. 

Finding throwbacks that you both knew to serenade each other with was your favorite way to pass the time on car rides. There were certainly a few favorite songs, which you both would sing along to regardless of who was around. You would even go as far to include some of Lucas’s diss tracks and music he composed himself. He would laugh at you trying to match his level of flow and would most often be rapping along with you by the end of the song. 

Neither of you really had that great of a singing voice, but the smile on the other’s face was all you both cared about. Not to mention it also made car rides seem like they were never long enough. Whether it was a cringe-worthy throwback or your current favorite rap song, you both made a point to sing to your heart’s content.

You wake up to the feeling of sun on your cheeks and try to pull the covers over you so that you can drift back into your sleep state. Finding that the covers are stuck on something and then recalling how your boyfriend decided to spend the night with you. Just then you feel his arms wrap around you and hear a small groan in protest, “Y/N, do you have to steal more of the covers?” 

Pulling you in closer, you remind him, “You are the one with all of the covers, give me some warmth.” 

Chuckling softly, he gently starts pressing kisses along your exposed neck, “There, all warmed up now?” he asks. 

“Slightly I suppose, could be warmer” you state. 

Laughing a bit more, he pulls you in closer to erratically kiss your neck and face, finishing with a quick kiss on your lips before laying directly on top of you. “Okay, how about now? I’m certainly comfortable” he states. 

Laughing even more you say, “Of course you are. I will admit, I am a bit warmer.” 

Holding onto your sides, he slowly begins to drift back to sleep as you gently run your hand through his hair. Taking in the sound of his gentle breathing breathing and feeling of his soft touch, you start to drift off as well. Softly he asks, “Hey, Y/N?” 

“Yeah?” you respond. 

“Promise me it’ll be you and me like this forever?” he asks.

Scoffing a bit, you ask, “What’s gotten into you? I can’t predict the future to know if one of us ends up doing something stupid.” 

Holding onto you tightly, he responds saying, “Well yeah, but we can work through that stuff, right?” Pausing a second, he continues with, “I just can’t imagine doing this with anyone else or caring about them the way I care about you.” 

Wrapping your arms around him and holding him close you respond saying, “Of course we will work through what we can. Now, what’s got you bringing all of this up? Want to fess up for any crimes?” you ask jokingly. 

“No, recently there has just been a lot of drama with some of the guys and their girlfriends. Mainly petty drama they are considering ending their relationships over and I just don’t want to get to that point” he states. 

Pausing you say, “Well, usually we talk about things right away which limits the miscommunication. I think as long as we keep that going we will be just peachy.” 

Looking up at you and smiling, he leans in and plants a soft, but loving kiss, on your lips, “I love you. You always know what to tell me. I just can’t understand how you make me fall more in love with you every day.” Chuckling you say, “I love you, too, babe.” 

Kissing him slightly and then more assertively, you pull the covers around you and then quickly turn away from him saying, “ahhh, much better!” 

Laughing due to complete disbelief, he manages to get his way under the covers and attack you relentlessly with kisses. The rest of the morning you two spent cuddling, kissing, and making out under the warm covers. Taking in each other’s love and affection, you two cared too much to let something simple ruin what you had. 

Really because there is a lack of specific names in this one, you can insert any of your favorite FaZe members into this story. 

Work seemed as though it was dragging on for some reason. You were waiting to hear back on some emails from various people and found yourself sitting around bored. Work for you started fairly early in the morning, meaning you couldn’t stay over with your boyfriend as it would be too long of a drive that early. It also meant that your boyfriend probably wouldn’t be up for a couple more hours. 

The two of you had extremely different work lives and paths, but that didn’t stop the two of you from being each other’s biggest cheerleaders. You both had a passion for what you did and wanted to be the best at it, even if neither of you truly understood what each other did. That was the fun in it, though! There was always something new to talk about and explain to each other. The way you had fun explaining the process of an office setting and your daily work environment matched the way his face lit up whenever he talked about his new video idea or a surprise collab he was excited for. 

Although you both loved what you did, work made it difficult for the two of you to see each other as much as you both would like. Even if you finished work at 4:30, driving to the FaZe house meant another hour and a half to two hour drive during peak traffic time and after working a full day. Plus it was rare for you to ask him to drive down when at most you would get to spend a few hours together before you would fall asleep on him while watching a movie or laying around together. Nevertheless, the two of you made a point to get together at least once a week and talk often enough to see how the other was doing. 

Sitting at your desk, you started to think about your handsome guy and what he could be up to. Thinking back on it, you feel like it’s been a while since the last time you guys got together to hang out. You look to your calendar, only to realize that the two of you haven’t been able to get together in more than two weeks. Last weekend you had a birthday trip that was planned for months, while the weekend before Lucas had a last minute collab come up and had to take a raincheck on getting together. A pout starting to form on your face, you can’t believe how busy the last two weeks have been for both of you to not get together one time. Even when you were busy, one of you would try to make a point of driving to see the other- if only for a few hours to see a movie or spend dinner together. 

Just then you start filtering through some of your messages. Scrolling through, you expected it to be a mix of the two of you not being able to find time to make something work. However, it seemed like your work was getting in the way of getting together a lot more than usual. Any time Lucas offered to drive down to see you or plan something to get together, you ended up having to work overtime and stay late. Being that you were so overworked, you didn’t realize how many hours you had been putting in at the office. Not to mention, it caused you to be extremely tired when you finally made it home. It wasn’t that you had difficulty justifying driving to be with him for that night, but you couldn’t justify that far of a drive to work the next morning.

Because both of you were passionate about your work, Lucas didn’t want to bring up the lack of time you were spending together as there were times that you were willing to wait until it was a good time for him. Thus, he decided all he could really do was try to make a day and time work. Waking up that morning, he decided to get his day going and message you in a couple hours in the event you had a busy morning and could message him around lunch time. And now here you were, sitting at work and waiting to end your day as soon as possible even if lunch was just about to start for you. 

Taking your lunch a little early, you decide to message Lucas and see what he was up to. Checking in on him, you message saying: “Hey, you awake cute stuff?” 

Seeing your message, Lucas’s smile grows and he is quick to respond with: “Of course, my day is on the path to success. Did you get lucky and finally get to take a lunch?” 

“Finally. I just realized this morning how much I have been working! I feel like I haven’t seen your cute face in awhile and I’m starting to miss it,” you respond. 

Chuckling to himself a bit, Lucas responds by sending, “It’s not for lack of me trying, I miss your cute face too...and your horrible jokes.” 

Rolling your eyes, you state: “I know, I know. When does it work for you if I drive down?”

Lucas starts to type, “Well, tonight would be fine, I don’t know how busy you are or if you want to make the drive since you have work tomorrow, too.” Pausing, he realizes he misses you a bit more than he’d like to lead on. Pondering the idea of, ‘Maybe if I at least asked if she would be okay to stay over, just this once she would consider it on a work night?’ Continuing his message, he types, “I don’t have any videos set up to film today or tomorrow, just some editing to do at some point, is there no way you could just spend the night tonight? You’ve been working so late, you can take off a morning, right, and go in later?” 

Reading his message, you consider it for a couple minutes before making up your mind. ‘Well, I do need to work tomorrow. But I have been putting in a lot of overtime lately. I can’t come in later due to the time differences with the people I talk with. Maybe I can work from my laptop tomorrow?’ Thinking everything over, you decide on taking the chance of getting distracted by your boyfriend’s good looks the following morning. You text him back saying, “Okay, I will bring my laptop and work from your place tomorrow while you are editing until it’s time for me to drive home.” 

Unable to believe his eyes, Lucas messages back stating, “Are you serious?? You’re actually going to drive here and stay the night??” Smile getting larger and larger, his hopes are starting to skyrocket. 

Laughing, you text back, “Yeah, just try not to distract me too much (; I can’t go into work late because of time zones so I’ll just make it a work-from-home day and save time.” 

Excited, Lucas texts: “okay! We can spend tomorrow editing and working and cuddling in bed!” 

Smiling, you can’t believe how cute he is and message back, “haha alright, babe. I’ve got to get back to work, but I’ll text you when I’m on my way! Better have some kisses prepared after making this drive...” 

Grinning ear to ear, Lucas is quick to message back: “Don’t worry, there will be more than kisses waiting for you when you get here (; have a good rest of your day, babe!”

Sending a quick, “Thanks, you too!,” you turn back to your computer and notice a plethora of new emails. Walking to your boss’s office you clarify that you will be working from home tomorrow to handle a bunch of new issues that have just come up. He agrees and also tells you that you should take more home office days as needed. After returning back to your desk, you ponder the idea of taking a day a week to work from home. If either of you were too busy on the weekend to get together, it would mean that you and Lucas would get to hang out while both of you worked. Not to mention, it would give you an excuse to take breaks as needed. Which at least then some time together would be better than no time in a few weeks. 

The new set of emails and their problems were staring you down a this point. Wanting to get everything done so you could be on your way sooner to your bae, you started filtering through everything one by one and handling things more efficiently than usual. Even if it were a few hours until you could finally hug and kiss your favorite FaZe member, those hours were going to pass by quickly with the amount of work you were about to get done. You were excited to see him and tell him the good news about being able to make more time to see each other. 

Your excitement matched Lucas’s as he spent the rest of the day telling everyone how excited he was to see you and hang out with you finally. To be honest everyone was a bit worried about him and they were thrilled to find out that it was simply that you both were busy and couldn’t find time. Knowing how much you two cared about each other and were in sync, no one was surprised to find you two cuddled up one minute and the next on laptops grinding out some work.
