i want to thank every christophe fan out there who has given this lad the love and support he deserves, yet was so unfairly deprived of this entire season. cheers to everyone who was cheering him on since the beginning, sticking up for him through the never-ending stream of hate and negativity that flooded his tag, and sharing all your lovely positivity/art/headcanons and more to create a small safe haven for us chris fans to thrive off of. i don't think i've ever been in a fandom that has directed so much ill and ridiculing content towards a particular character, and i was honestly shocked to have experienced all this from the fandom for such a progressive and lovely show like yoi. it really hurt me seeing so many negative posts about my favorite character each week, so it really warmed my heart to see the small group of chris fans constantly contributing to the positive christophe discourse and sharing such wonderful content about him. although yoi has come to an end (for now ?), i hope this lovely christophe discourse will continue on; i don't think i'll stop talking about him for a long time. thank you for making this fandom journey bearable, and thank you for loving christophe giacometti.
