I'm a 55 year old woman with a few medical problems but one of them is... I'm lazy. For several years I've practically given up on ever feeling good again. My back, leg and knee pain just continued to worsen. Sciatica was a frequent problem and rest was the only thing that made it feel better. I went to my doctor and he gave me meds for arthritis, steroids, pain pills, etc.... Also went to multiple chiropractors to no avail. It turned out that I had a synovial cyst on my spinal cord with an 80% compression. Pain at this point had progressed to the point I could not stand up for more than a minute or two without wanting to throw up from pain. Surgery was my only option. Surgery revealed a second cyst and a bulging disc that he had to shave off. After the surgery I had a 6 week recovery with a lot of restrictions. No bending, no twisting, no lifting. No house work :-). Even with all these restrictions my friend Val convinced me that her trainer could help me. I knew in my heart that I needed to go do something and that I would not be able to do it alone. Indeed going to Sync Fitness and Movement and starting The fitness system the Warren implemented into the facility is the best decision I've made. Working with Warren's System has helped me realize that I can do it! I'm getting stronger and feeling good. I'm thankful for all the encouragement and positive support. I never thought I would WANT to go to the gym but I do. Sure there are days when I would rather stay home but I know he is expecting me to be there so I get my butt in gear and go. I always feel good about myself when I leave. After 2 1/2 months I have lost 21 lbs and gained strength and confidence. I still have about 40 pounds to go but I know that will happen with continued hard work and a healthy diet.
