Sharing Blankets from Cozy Autumn Prompts

With the weather finally cooling down, you were excited for cuddle weather. At times you were a bit shy about asking to cuddle, but with the weather colder now you knew you’d have more opportunities to finally be able to cuddle with Pucci. You didn’t say anything just yet, but you were beginning to shiver visibly. You tried not to make it too obvious, but at the same time you kept getting closer and closer to Pucci who seemed to be lost in thought about something. 

Pucci noticed you were close to him, but he hadn’t looked up from his book… Not yet. Once he finished the page that’s when he was able to put his attention on you and he immediately saw how much you were shivering. Pucci was fine at the moment, he had been under a blanket… he wanted to ask you to join him but he felt a little shy about it at first. 

“You’ll catch a cold if you don’t cover up.” Pucci said looking over at you. It was his way of telling you to join him. 

“…Yeah. I forgot to put on some warmer clothes.” You replied, but still felt too shy about getting even closer to him. 

Pucci tutted and shook his head in disappointment. Well, he wasn’t really disappointed - he was actually glad for this opportunity even if he had a strange way of showing it. Instead of saying anything else, he scooted over making room for you to sit next to him. 

You stood there for a moment before deciding to join him. You were still feeling shy about this, but you didn’t want to waste the opportunity either. You sat next to him now getting comfortable under the blanket as well. You couldn’t help but feel your body get warmer when you felt your thigh touch his. This closeness… You loved being close to him. Even if you two had your own ways about showing your feelings for each other, little moments like this meant so much. 

“Thank you, Father Pucci….” You felt the need to be formal in the moment. 

“There’s no need to be formal with me.” Pucci corrected. “You can call me Enrico.”

“Enrico…” You repeated, but his name felt forbidden to say, yet you wanted to say it over and over again. “Thank you, Enrico.”

“You looked cold, it was only right.” Pucci said, but he leaned closer in your direction. There was that strange way of showing affection again. 

“Thank you for thinking of me…” You slowly leaned against him to rest your head on your shoulder.

“I always think of you. There’s no need to thank me…” Now Pucci rested his head on top of yours as well, allowing himself to enjoy this closeness.
