If you guys have been following along recently, I finished the pilot script and put out a casting call for voice actors.

Now- the bad news: there are not enough auditions. I figured I could keep pushing it and sharing in as many places as possible, but it occured to me that even if I scrounged up enough VAs now, my audience and reach is so small that whatever pilot we manage to make is going to be seen by only a few dozen people at most. I need to build an audience deliberately over time and THEN make the pilot. If I can't I'll just end up throwing something into the void with no traction.

The answer was clear... I need to postpone the pilot indefinitely. Again.

I am super grateful for the auditions I recieved and the support you guys have given me. I feel pretty bad to have to make an announcement like this, but it was too ambitious for me at the moment. I need to step back, regroup and gather the resources I need to make it properly.

So. What's the good news?

I've rederected my efforts into a version of Fatekeepers that I can make without needing a crew and without much monetary commitment. We're doing a comic.

The comic will act as the pilot- showing off the story in a way that should help people fall in love with the characters and get excited about what's to come. I'm turning the pilot script into a comic, so you'll get the same story I've been planning this whole time.

I'm going to try my best to get it done quickly and make it worthy of your time. Thanks again for all your support. I'm excited for what's coming, even if the road we're taking is going to be a bit different than I hoped. The show is still happening! It's just got to happen properly and I don't have confidence in my current capabilities.

Kelly is a princess, but all of her funds belong to her mother and she never learned the value of money, so whatever the Fates pay her, she treats as an allowance that she should spend entirely before she gets paid again.

Lazarus has no money from his homeworld and while he's more responsible with money, he usually ends up spending quite a bit on necessities.

Spike has no money from home either and is usually the one who buys groceries for the group, so he spends quite a bit.

Happy has no money from home and spends his money on collectibles and alcohol.

Happy is small.

Fatekeepers is an in-progress animated show about five characters from different worlds. They work as a team with the goal of being granted a wish if they prove themselves worthy. There is a lot of drama and worldbuilding.

MOST RECENT UPDATE: Production on the Fatekeepers animated pilot has been postponed indefinitely as I focus on building an audience. Instead, the pilot will be released as a comic- which is coming soon!
