From that puddle, a creature emerges, growling and hissing like the feral predator she is.

Her prey is barely alive in her mouth, still trying to drag himself out of that maw full of teeth.

Then it closes all of the sudden, and the silence returns.]

They always try to crawl out, don't you hate what that happens? Ghreheh...

It wasn't intentional that he stumbled upon this clearing where a small thriving settlement was doing its own thing. In his defense, he was also doing his own thing - that thing being simply exploring, getting some samples and dodging some interesting traps and violent little creatures.

But then he burst out of the forest, stumbling right into the compound. The next thing he knew was that he was duly being relieved of his backpack, and it wasn't without much effort that he managed to convince them to let him keep his mask. He wasn't sure how, but he was thankful anyway.

Strong winds were the bane of any flying creature but especially those of the small variety. It had been a rouge gust that caught the transformed Drak off guard, knocking his wings topsy-turvy and sending him tumbling.

"Whoa whoa whoa!

The crack and rustle of branches being met with his flailing form only to finally come to a dead stop, tangling in both branches and spider web.

"Of all the places for there to be a web!" and no amount of struggling seems to be getting him loose. Even changing back would just get him more stuck. So, it seems he has to swallow his pride.

"Not so fast Haru, that should go the other way around," Lambert said, wrapping his arms around the goatt and holding him close. The lamb, for his part, had a sly smile on his face, his cheeks gently tinted red.
