Diantha never knew how much she’d enjoy the beach until she actually went to one. Xolotl Island had nothing like this: The sun felt so warm, the water felt so nice, and all of the crew and her fellow maidens were having so much fun. If Diantha’s maidenhood had to be prolonged because of such a nice vacation, then she could live with that.
She didn’t want to just be here to relax though. There was work to be done with setting up the stage and practicing for ( hopefully this time ) her last performance as a maiden, but the rest of the Grandcypher crew was also hard at work at Sierokrate’s beach house, serving food to lines of hungry customers. Diantha could see some of them struggling with so many customers, and the smell of such delicious food wafting over the entire beach was probably why, so she went to help with whatever she could.
Being put under Lyria’s leadership in the dining area, she quickly went about serving the plethora of food selections they had, most notably what they called Blazing Skewers. Upon needing more of the much requested item, she was the first to run over to where Lyria pointed out, but all thoughts of working left her mind for a brief moment at such a display. “Whoa...” She whispered under her breath, fear mixed with and overpowered by amazement over the erune conjuring up flames over ten grills, and the combined smell of all of those skewers cooking was almost divine. “U-Um...I suppose you’re Elmott?” Diantha asked once out of her brief trance. “I’m Diantha; I’m helping Lyria serve orders of Blazing Skewers...”
