Not many highlights on the bike in 2021. Most hours on the trainer since moving from Michigan, fewest miles in a foreign country since 2006. Missing my main wingmen @rogierdutch and @alexsoria who would always push me to get up early and go just a bit farther and harder. It’s been a few decades since I was turning wrenches. I would always finish off special builds with signature cable crimps long before electrons, fluid and motors did the task of moving gears and stopping bikes. #FBF to the F1. @jeffsoucek designed and engineered Felt’s bikes for years and when we laid out this F series generation he let me tweak the 58cm to suit my fit and ride preference. Then we used to make special bikes for magazine tests and teams that were lighter or stiffer or both but maybe sometimes didn’t passed all the impact or fatigue testing. This is one of those special patio frames. 800g & EFBE stiffness off the charts!
