It had been hectic lately. There were so many things going on, not that Remy knew exact details, but the boys were always off to something. Thankfully, not out of town for overnights or anything, but still, everyone seemed a little ragged. At this point, Remy can't recall who brought it up first, but she had, at least, two girls suggest a party. Things had slowed a bit, and when she thought it was most appropriate, she broached the topic with Tristan. She could say yes, but knew it was really formally his call.
Everyone needed to blow off steam. It was clear when it was announced based upon the enthusiastic reactions. Remy talked to Maria and Sadira to help her plan. Finally, it was set, and somehow, she was nervous as the night approached. She wanted it to go well, everyone to have fun.
Arriving early, she ensured all was set up, handling some small problem with getting some of the food she'd requested. It had her sending the two prospects on a quick errand after she called in a different order. Pizza and wings. People would have to just be happy with pizza and wings.
The blonde was busy with some of the set up, though most was handled by some of the other ladies around. She learned months ago that it was a way they showed respect. She didn't want to reject that even if it was hard for her to let go. Remy wore a black skirt with a green lacy top (img) paired with thigh high black heeled boots (img of boots). Maybe some part of her hoped this outfit would capture Tristan's attention, subconsciously... or not completely subconsciously. The other part of her still felt, a little, like she had to compete with this beautiful women that hung around.
The party was just starting and Remy headed into the back to check on a few things and clear her mind briefly. Nothing started until all the kids were down and asleep so she made sure to stop by the room they were all in, peeking in briefly to check on their sleeping children. As usual, Abel was close to Sutton, the young girl half tucked against him. Fifteen or twenty minutes in is when she finally emerged to check on how it was going. Not quite spotting Tristan immediately from where she was standing - even with her heels on, plenty were taller than her.
