For example, the Big Cartoon Wiki (which has a whole page for the Monica comics) has one specific story involving the character of Todd - it is from the 106th issue of "Magali Globo". It is titled "Gorducho eu?" (that was translated in the English version as "Chubby, me?"). Now of course, this is a comic about kids having fun adventures in a chibi style, so it is just cuteness and there's no real "kink" stuff to have here, just childhood nostalgia comfort-fun.

But I do want to point out how in this one precise story you happen to have MANY various tropes and motifs that have become recurring in the fat kink world - from weight gain fiction to gaining roleplay to kinky comics, you find back, in these old childhood comics, all the classics.

The character who gains a lot of weight, in a noticeable and physically-affecting way, but is in denial of it.

The girlfriend who is an accidental feeder - comfortable with her boyfriend gaining weight, enjoying it, being a "bad" influence by encouraging him to eat a lot and indulge in gluttony.

The radical decision to lose weight and the self-consciousness/self-disliked due to the extra girth, that however is tempered and appeased by the realization that the chubbiness is genetic/a familial trait/due to his household environment, resulting in the fat character still wishing to lose weight but accepting the fact he naturally gains weight and that it is in his nature to get fat...

And of course the conclusion of the girlfriend supporting her boyfriend's weight loss, but still making sure to enjoy his extra-padding as much as she can before it is gone - with a final "belly-pillow" scene.

It is all there for a cute, nice little scenario fitting the kind of fantasies and situations we like to see depicted.

As I said on my other blog, I am currently really into digging for the tropes, archetypes and "mecanics" behind our kink and the art produced out of it. Yes I am making the fat kink an university research subject, fight me about it.
